Food was great. Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a while. The crew working this morning was very welcoming and hospitable. The place was clean and organized. It’s clear the staff here cares about doing a good job. Will be coming back as often as I can.

My first visiting this place and I love it. Everything was fresh and the service great. We ordered wings, fries, club sandwich and a mix drink. I will most definitely be making a trip back.

Heard about this spot so decided to catch up with a friend here for lunch. Service was prompt and they brought our food to our table. I ordered the turkey club. It was really tasty and filling.

I was excited to return to this spot after a great experience a year ago. What a difference a year makes! I had ham added to my club sandwich. After eating one section of the sandwich, I could smell a funny smell coming from the ham on the remaining 3 sections of the sandwich. I prayed over my food, so I will be covered, thank God!
When ordering your sandwich, make sure to let them know what bread you'd prefer. Because once the bread hits the toaster you can't change bread, unless you pay $2.15 extra. Since the sandwich was almost $20.00, I had to suck it up and eat the white bread.
I also want to mention that the cashier voluntarily told me that the doughnuts were "fresh" and had "just" come in! Neither statement was true! The doughnut was dry amd definitely did not come in today or even yesterday! I had honestly planned to return and patronize this establishment again, but they will never see me again!

Chile nobody listens to what you order then they get an attitude when you tell them they messed up. Stank attitudes and okay food. I’ll stick to brookland grill

I love this place. The energy is great. The ladies that work at the counter are thoughtful and fun. Service is quick and easy; they accept most forms of payment (including EBT). But what I'm here to post about is cook Mama Lo's AMAZING fish and grits. It's perfect. Real grits, cheese creamy sauce, and the best fish fry in DC. Excellent, bar none. At $15, it's a great big, takeaway dish that can be split between 2 people or eaten over two meals. Or one if you're really hungry. Delicious!

Staff so friendly and welcoming, really touched my heart how energetic, cheerful, patient, kind, and helpful the ladies all were. And every restaurant needs a Chrissie (spelling?) because she is awesome! I ordered the Reuben with extra sauerkraut, and this was really delicious. The guys cooking at the grill know what they're doing. I look forward to returning here whenever I'm in the area ??????
