I sat at the bar and Ben was very nice but all the food and wine took a long time to arrive from wherever. Stone crab was good, crab rice was also good. The seabass was especially good. Ben made good recommendations.

Wow! Fantastic food and delicious drinks. I loved the surf ‘n’ turf options. Highly recommend the Spicy Blackberry Margarita, and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Even the hot towels between courses were lavender scented, which was amazing.

I went here for my birthday dinner. I love this restaurant. When I checked my coat they provided me with a cashmere scarf in case I got chilly during the meal. We had the stone crab claws that were amazing. The sauce with them are so good. I had the crab crusted lobster tails with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All of the food was cooked to perfection. They brought out a baked alaska for dessert which was very good. Paul was our waiter and he made sure we were taken care of the entire night. I will definitely be back to this restaurant again. One of my new favorite places in DC.

Ocean's finest seafood and crab! Which is a tremendously gross understatement! Which is a testament to the chefs preparing your food and making it look absolutely as beautiful as it tastes! The service is nothing short of absolutely stunning and amazing! Their motto must be to go above and beyond and create an experience that you will never ever ever forget! Dawn the general manager came out and greeted us with kindness that as long as I have lived I have never experienced and it was nothing short of amazing I have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for how good they made me feel along with my company!
Everyone is on the exact same page which is to offer you an amazing and Unforgettable experience from the greeters! To my server, to the back servers in the individuals bringing you food! They check on your allergies and make sure you are going to be safe while enjoying their delectable entrees and appetizers! And the bar! What can I say absolutely freaking amazing!
So much fun! So personable! Attending to your every need want and desire! Every single staff member shares the same philosophy to make your experience amazing! The attention to detail is impeccable and unrival!

Can't wait to return!
I'm not sure if I said enough about how delicious the food was, but kudos to the chefs! They are absolutely freaking amazing!
And amazingly I received a phone call the very next day inquiring about their hope that I had a quality and enjoyable experience at their fine dining restaurant. Of course I did!

We came for dinner on a Saturday night during a weekend trip to DC from NYC in early March with three others. We made the reservation for the same day. It was a cold and windy evening. I believe it is a good thing we made the reservation because the restaurant was pretty crowded.

I was excited to try this location of Truluck’s as I am originally from Texas and have been to their restaurants in the past. Sadly, this experience did not leave me wanting to try this or any Truluck’s in the future.

When we arrived, we were told we would have to wait 15 minutes for our table to be ready (despite having a reservation). The manager was very nice and tried to make this up to us. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and then we never really saw him again. When our snow crab came, they only brought one crab fork even though we ordered for all three of us. When my entree came, I had no cutlery. The server never asked how things were going or if he could get us more drinks.

The restaurant looks like a wedding reception from 2007. The food was fine; not really good or bad. I don’t think anything about my experience remotely related to the $100+ per person we spent on this meal. I was disappointed. I would likely not come back to this restaurant unless someone else was paying.

Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options available but there weren’t a lot as this is primarily a seafood oriented restaurant.

Lobster bisque is to die for.... I had the Large Stone Crab Claws.. a little pricey but we'll worth it... mashed potatoes were Luke warm, but the asparagus was on point.... female bartender was helping me initially... but she got into a 30+ minute conversation with a customer... and another gentleman really picked up her slack..... he saved the day for me on a very cold evening in DC

Has the aurora of an upscale experience, however felt the passion wasn't there. Food was decent. Side dishes need improvement. Nice place for a dinner date but would not recommend for special occasion.

Went to Truluck's for dinner for a yearly high-school friend gathering after the Wash DC Car show a few weekends ago. Wow, the seafood tower we got was amazing! We selected everything we wanted and has it custom built. 😀 Service was fantastic and the steaks & seafood apps were perfect.. If I remember correctly there was even a guy playing piano & doing some light yacht rock DJ stuff in between. The manager was super accommodating since we got in late and tables were hard to come by. He had us wait at the bar (no problemo.. had us a few old fashions) and got us a table in around 20 min. I cannot thank him and the staff enough for an amazing evening. Our friend group (HS class of 89!) only sees each other once a year these days so it meant a lot to us. We will be back!!!

Vegetarian options: There may have been some options here but wasn't looking.

Parking: Does take some time to find a spot since it's downtown Wash DC across from convention center. We just use the parking garage every time we visit the city.

Kid-friendliness: It's probably fine for kids but we were there late so were mostly couples and adult groups. This is high end steak house & is a pretty pricey place too, so not exactly where you want to take young kids. That said if you are in the city, and the kids are a little older, I'm sure they would love this place and have an amazing memory.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's Wash DC so not exactly wheelchair friendly to begin with. That said this place is roomy and you would be fine getting in and out.

When we walked in, we were immediately impressed by the hostess positively interacting with everyone - the customers AND other employees. She owned her job and did it with such passion (very rare to see!). Our server was excellent and didn’t make the night about him. He came at the right times and accommodated everything we asked for. Food was also amazing! You can easily tell everyone is on the same page and very good at what they do. We eat at a ton of high end restaurants and this place is doing EVERYTHING right! Our favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale by far! Thank you!
