I am currently 5 months pregnant and tried the lobster lo mein last night. I ended up throwing it up this morning. Definitely avoid eating the lobster for your safety!!!!

I would never order from this again. I can say by far this is worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life. I ordered the beef and broccoli along with other items but this one dish was for myself. As soon as I opened the container i was dismayed by the smell alone. I have never had beef and broccoli that smelled that way. It had a very spoiled smell to it which threw me for a loop. I then removed the meat from the bowl to alleviate the smell in an attempt to eat only the broccoli and still could not bring myself to eat it. I had to trash the entire meal as It was not edible. I'm very upset and disgusted to say the least. I didn't even know "beef" could smell that horrific until I received this meal.

Food didn't taste fresh. The shrimp in my lo mein tasted like it had been sitting in water for a long time. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I ordered general tso's chicken and requested non-spicy as I am allergic to the red pepper used. Food was delivered and I could instantly see the peppers, so I had a colleague taste and she said it was very spicy but yummy. I then had two others try it and they all three agreed it was spicy and found multiple peppers. Called and the lady who answered argued with me, that it was spicy and that they did not use peppers in it at all.Again my colleagues said the food was good but I am out of a lunch and money for a meal that could have been done correctly the first time.

We order with grubhub at 5 pm. Delivery arrived at 5.35, but they sent one dish wrong, we called them straight away to let them know at 5.37. At 6.30 we still didn't have the replacement.Had to call again to find out what was going on.The food ended up arriving 2 minutes after the phone call.Really bad customer service. Made people wait 1 hour after delivering the wrong food is really bad.I will definitely not order again from them.

Tsim Yung is our go-to for Chinese food in the District. We've been ordering from them for years and the quality remains the same.

This has become our go to spot for Chinese food in NE DC. Fantastic menu options, great prices/portion sizes, and always delivered piping hot. Can't rave enough about this hidden gem.
