I love this place ?? the bean burger is delicious and the smoothies will take smoothie king down? and I can't say enough about those spinach patties!?? now the young lady that's works in their by herself is a hard worker but let's be real here they need another person just for safety reasons alone. The owner need to stop being so cheap with those high prices for her products but I'm fine with that but I shouldn't have to wait 25 minutes for my order because she's trying to save money by having one person run the whole store with 6 people in front of me and it's only going to get worse spring is here and the weather is getting better meaning more people will be out to get a blue bear ????

I stood waiting for service and was never acknowledged by the store clerk. She stayed typing in her phone, finally after waiting 5 minutes she said “hello” then continued to type in her phone. Not once did apologize for the wait or ask could she help me. After tired of being ignored, I left the store to spend my money some place else that values their customers. Horrible customer service.

The two women here were very uninviting and rude. Wouldn’t even acknowledge me as i stood trying to purchase from this establishment. When i finally got acknowledged the woman with her airpod in didn’t even look at me from behind the counter she was at. She just rudely asked how could she helped me while remaining on her phone where the smoothies are made. I left and wont be returning. I will definitely be sure to let the community know not to support a business where the staff wont even acknowledge you. If the owner keeps these young women working there it’ll be empty.

First time visiting this shop. Loved the decor and vibe. I got the Marion Berry smoothie, and it tasted amazing. The woman behind the bar was really personable and courteous. Will definitely be back to try other offerings.

Turning Natural is my favorite Vegan spot in the DMV. Side Bar; I'm disappointed that the Forestville location continues to close . Anyway, I started eating at Turning Natural off MLK (Anacostia ) area many years ago. I love the Bob Marley's smoothie and the black bean burger is as soon as you walk in, a sense of peace comes over you, the conversation is pleasant and the decoration is Black and Urban and uplifting . I'm not a vegan but I would choose Turning Natural, Daily !!!
Their smoothies are delicious especially the Chuck Brown,the blue bear, Happy hemp and Marion Berry. I just wish they wouldn't run out of the smoothie ingredients so fast. Other than that, they are great, and the salads are awesome with the creamy vinaigrette.

Been coming here for almost a year and I’m just over it. The service is just so low vibrational, they give you an attitude first and want to be nice later.Don’t bother ordering ahead because they don’t accept online orders even though it’s an option. If you order ahead and there’s 10 people ahead of you when you get there to pick up, you have to order as if you just walked in ALTHOUGH you ordered ahead online. ?I went in and got the Nipsey blue which is top tier smoothie despite service, She told me it was going to be green instead but will still taste the same. When I asked her why it wouldn’t be blue she looked at me and rolled her eyes said responded why. I think I still got charged the extra they charge with the missing ingredient.I won’t be coming back solely because of service, either they’re having personal convos on the phone while taking your order/making your smoothie, Have the little possibly underaged boy working up front… Not worth being irritated for spending $11 on a smoothie with a side of attitude.I tweeted and posted my experience on IG several others agreed that they now go to the Eastern Market location because of the horrible service.
