My husband and I saw Maye in concert last summer and it was such an awesome experience. Union Stage is a perfect setting for a small concert like that. I would have paid more because I had an amazing time. Literally one of the best artists I’ve ever heard live. Maye, the band, and her dad all sounded amazing. I loved it. I hope more bands play here so I can come back.

Listen, this is a great intimate spot with awesome acoustics, easy/simple entry for shows, and Ally is the best bartender ever. Had a great time upstairs before the show tonight, and the downstairs bartenders were amazing as well. Amazing vibes. Check it out.

This is the best small venue in DC. A really cool vibe being downstairs/ in a basement. The stage isn’t too tall and there’s no barricade. Drink prices are reasonable for a concert venue. If a band you like is coming through here done hesitate to go.

The show I went to was running over an hour late. Open at 7 and supposedly starting at 8, got there at 9 and the opening band was just starting its set. I waited as long as I could and then gave up. The supporting band was just too awful. And since I had work the next morning I couldn't wait for the headliner to finish after midnight.

Came here for a kwn concert and was amazing. But there was this girl who worked there she had a black I pad scanning people in, but when we were leaving she was inside the venue with her friends who was rolling a joint and smoking in the venue. ( mind you they tell us ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING 5 times while waiting) she pushed through everyone yelling at them to get out of her way because I guess she was suppose to holding the door open and she was so rude. And her friend who was yelling at people too. Great way to bring down the night from such a great show

The staff is so kind and considerate here. Big shoutout and thank you to Sierra Forbes, who was making sure everyone in the crowd was safe and hydrated at the Midnight Generations show- handing out water bottles to folks that needed them as unobtrusively as possible. I have never been so well taken care of at a venue before. Thank you, Sierra, and Union Stage!

Met up with my boy to see a show. Dive bar vibes with 80s new wave and punk videos projected on the wall. The door person was super polite and answered all my questions I had about the line for admission and door times. The show venue is downstairs. Had no idea this venue was here. Never went to the OG location so I can’t compare. Great size and perfect for indie bands and a small crowd. Smaller than 9:30 but bigger than Atlantis. More like an underground Black Cat. Seating section was a bit awkwardly placed in the back to the side side. Not sure I’d pay extra for that again. Staff isn’t super professional but are friendly and fast. As I said, dive bar vibes, so it’s like a bunch of misfits hustling around. We ordered pizza and fries which were not great. Got the job done but I wasn’t into the thin crust which was an overcooked on the edges but overall greasy so the main are was super limp and moist. I don’t drink so I ordered a coke. It definitely wasn’t Coke, some kind of cola that tasted like a different drink mixed in through the gun. I had to send it back. The rest of the non alcohol options were sparse and uninteresting. Ultimately the show was great, sound was loud but just right. We were next to the speaker and it didn’t blow our ears out or leave them ringing after we left. I’d definitely go back for a show but will eat somewhere else before I get there.

Emailing them from the website about my wheelchair accommodations was super easy, they were very friendly and so helpful. They roped off a designated area in front of the stage so I could sit in my wheelchair but still see the stage, and they even grabbed a seat for my husband so we could watch together. Thank you so much!!

Nice venue, good artist show, service was good and friendly, and food was great. I bought a table ticket, which are first come first serve. Really good margaritas, chicken tenders, and sliders.

Took my kids to the James Marriott gig and lived everything about it. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, not your typical experience at a venue. But made the experience so much better. Special shout out to Layla and, I think, John who went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Will definitely return. Thanks for making my kids first concert memorable ❤️
