Fantastic place! Best barman I’ve ever been served by, and a great selection of tasty beers at reasonable prices. Good central location, and lovely interior. Makes me want to move to DC!
This has been my favorite bar in DC for a while. Maybe it isn’t OBJECTIVELY the city’s best bar, but it’s exactly the vibe I look for: quiet enough to have a coherent conversation, cheap enough to get tipsier than planned, and offering great Moscow Mules. I love this place.
Stopped here on the 4th of July to cool off and saw that they had happy hour. We were able to find seats right away at the bar. The lady at the bar showed us what they had on tap on the chalk board. She was very nice. I ordered a beer and my family ordered wine. While the bar was dimly light, it was nice to sit, relax, and escape the heat. We were watching Wimbledon on one of the TVs
