The owner refused to serve 3 black women until they allowed him to take a photo of their ID. When they asked why he said because he didn’t want them to despiste the charges with their bank. The women insisted they didn’t plan on doing this however the owner refused to serve them their food, even stopping the food from being placed on the table after these women paid. He seems to have a lot of mistrust towards black people which is strange considering he is black himself.

My first time visiting was pleasant. Small but cozy spot. Music was good, the marijuana smoke becomes overwhelming after a few minutes. Need better ventilation. Ordered buffalo wings with fries and they were the smallest I’ve ever seen but fresh & worth the few dollars. The drinks were AMAZING! $10 per tequila sunrise 🤷🏾♀️ They don’t have a cocktail drink menu. As far as parking, DON’T DRIVE! Please UBER! Spots are limited & so much traffic. Tow trucks are standing by EVERYWHERE! No fee to enter or no dress code.

One of the worst lounges I have ever went to. The place looks dingy and out dated. It's nothing but a bunch weird people lurking outside of the business. Little security. They let any and everybody in. The drinks are nasty and costly! ($16 for a drink) You're better off taking a shot than getting a drink. It's very dark near the bathroom doors. The DJ was great!!! (Which was the only thing good about it). ALSO, SOMEOME I KNOW WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AGAINST THEIR WILL AT THE LOUNGE. AND THE OWNER MIKE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF WOMEN AT ALL!!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO A DIFFERENT LOUNGE/CLUB THAN THIS ONE! IT'S 🗑🗑🗑🗑

So let me start I’ve never been no where and I’m almost 40 where a place enforce you to by a drunk hooks or what ever in order to stay in their establishment… I had 3 Ethiopian females approach me because I said I’m ok and tried to force me to by a drink. I’ve lived in DC my whole Life…… I have never in my life been violated like such. I have gone to many clubs on 9th street DC and nobody have ever tried to force me to purchase drinks. By the way me and my man had already had a bottle in the car from a previous engagement and we were dismissed by the bar staff because we did not want a drink. I will never in my life come here! It is unacceptable. The security staff of 7/23/23 was the bomb and that is the only thing good about this place

They automatically take gratuity out of your tab and want a tip also! You can't do that. Just because your not charging at the door doesn't mean you can take gratuity and a tip also!! That's bad for business.
Music ok.. cut off a few times for commercials. Customer service is horrible.. the hookah attendant came by way more times than the servers.. there sitting around talking with each other.. in a hour span I had to stop one to place and order and no one ever came back by .. if you want subpar service this is the spot for you.
