Enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We got The Morrow (eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, and toast) and the Greek Yogurt Parfait. The yogurt was high quality, thick but not too tart. Beautiful fruit, cocoa nibs, and honey. We liked these dishes so much that we got the same thing the next day.

If you are looking for pre batch cocktails that are basic and over priced with food that takes more than 30 minutes to make, you found your spot!!! With not even without receiving greetings from the hostess. You are lucky if the sever helps you find a table for you or your party. Servers are too busy changing the music section more then they help attend tables. You will be lucky if they get to you with a great attitude or sober. YOUR BILL ALREADY HAS 20% GRATUITY AND 3% SERVICE FEE. Which no one tells you that part. That is why the servers do not care how they approach you. If you get mad or upset is best to not tell the servers but just ask for a manager. If you tell the server why you are mad, 90% percent of the time they with change the scenario to make you seem like it is your fault. Good luck finding a manager!! Beware of the blonde manager her mouth smells like something is dead inside. Bring mints or gum for her or even a air freshener. She is always downstairs with the Security boys or any guys of power sitting back and getting free massage from them ;) The brunette you can always find her in the lobby greeting you with some free bubbly drink. Mostly drunk, dancing and telling the world the company is bankrupt. Or the brunette is in the kitchen yelling at the staff because they only speak spanish and she knows they can not say anything about it to H.R. Once you get you free meal/ drinks from all the chaoticness. Do not forget to enjoy the view.

This is a hidden gem! D.C. has spectacular rooftop bars & lounges and this one is no exception. The added bonus is the flow and drinks are good too.

I got the blackened salmon tacos which were pretty good. However, I was disappointed by the 2 drinks I got. Also, our waitress didn't come out by us (or any of the tables nearby) as much as we've seen at other places, so it took a while for us to order and to get our food.

Good views, chilled ambiance and good drinks. I was staying at the hotel but wanted to grab a quick drink before they closed. They were gracious and prepared my two drinks quickly. I had my drinks and enjoyed the view. I’m sure it looks really nice during sunset.

Had fantastic birthday drinks with my sister. The Froze was out of this world, closer to a smootie than just an icy wine. BIG shout out to Junior for beyond stellar service. Thank you for being so kind, and for your book recommendation.

The Upstairs at The Morrow Review: Fantastic Rooftop Vibes (4.5/5)
The Upstairs at The Morrow is a rooftop bar that I absolutely love. The vibes are wonderful, and the view of NoMa is fantastic. The drinks and food are good and well thought out. The French burger with beef jus is probably one of the best I've had in the city, accompanied by delicious frites. We also tried the strawberry shortcake, which was just okay.
The service was fast and friendly, and they accommodated us as walk-ins. Honestly, you go for the vibes—the views are incredible, and the decor is luxurious throughout the bar and hotel, featuring clean modern finishes. The DJ that night added to the lively atmosphere. I also appreciated that all the dishware was high-quality plastic, which felt really well thought out for a rooftop setting.
Disclaimer: I worked at Le Clou, the associated restaurant, for about a week before leaving. I wasn't the biggest fan of Chef Nic, but I will say that the burger was damn good.

Celebrated a friend's birthday at Upstairs Rooftop at The Morrow and had an unforgettable experience, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Shelsa and David. Shelsa's warm welcome and attentive service made us feel incredibly special throughout the evening. She guided us through the menu with expert recommendations and ensured that every detail was taken care of flawlessly. She also made sure my friend felt special on his birthday!
David, the bartender, deserves special recognition for his impeccable cocktails and recommendation for types of liquor.
