Very detailed and informative history of the entire era leading up to and through the Holocaust. Much bigger than it appears, clean, restrooms on all floors (exhibit takes you through 4 floors). Went on a Saturday in August and it was rather crowded but not overwhelming. Definitely recommend if at all interested in the subject.
The cafe is just outside the museum and has a separate entrance. They have a very simple fare and basic modern decor without any frills. Don't be misled by the menu. Here is what I mean... Most people see the menu and they assume things are made to order and can be altered and customized. No, they premake their food and put them in the cooler or keep them warm. They will try to accommodate you the best they can, and make more if they are out of food, but this is not a cook...
In a time when history is being erased, victims are being forgotten, people are being demonized, and racism/fascism/nationalism are being glorified, this is the resource we all need to reference!
This site is amazing. The people at the museum are knowledge laden! The Belfer Academy is second to none!
Please! Go to them to learn what we need NOT be doing!
