Disappointing brunch experience. The food was fine but nothing special, especially for the price. We had a group of 14 seated on the rooftop and weren’t assigned a dedicated server. Instead, one bartender was responsible for the entire rooftop, taking orders, making drinks, and trying to manage what felt like 30 people. Service was slow and disorganized as a result, which took away from the experience. For what they charge, I expected much better coordination and attention. Not really worth it for brunch.

Kiah was amazing. My party was running a little bit late but they understood due to the snow. My friend had a great birthday celebration with us and it was memorable. Food is great and with the unlimited brunch cocktails made it great.

First time visiting. Food and drinks was great.. Lindsey was a GREAT bartender! However, John was extremely rude and refused to give us additional drinks because another customer
My coworkers and I went to Vagabond after dinner last night to grab some dessert, and I am SO glad that we did! The coconut ice cream with grilled pineapple was absolutely stunning. Our server David was so kind and funny and helpful. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in DC!

Kiah our server was fantastic. I wish the food runners knew who got what and didn’t have to ask. I wish our hostess gave us each menus rather than stacking them upside down on one side of the table. Food was good but not amazing.

Vagabond Bar & Kitchen was an absolute standout.
The service was top tier—attentive without hovering, which made the experience feel seamless. Shoutout to manager John and our server David for making sure everything flowed effortlessly from start to finish.
The food delivered across the board. The quesabirria was perfectly balanced, the surf & turf with garlic-mint lamb chops and a wood-fired lobster tail was done exactly right, and the pork belly confit melted in your mouth. The catch of the day—oven-baked flounder stuffed with spinach, onions, and garlic—clearly sells out for a reason. One squeeze of lemon took it over the top.
Dessert sealed it: a rum-soaked sponge cake with ice cream over grilled pineapple—rich, balanced, and not overly sweet.
Vagabond is truly a hidden gem in plain sight. Highly recommend,
