Wonderful tea set experience. Also, the best vegan cookies I ever tasted! The orange one had a nice jammy filling inside and paired well with the tea. Server was so kind and knowledgeable, 5/5, will go again. Maybe tomorrow.... Also! Really conveniently located next to the dupont circle metro.
This is my favorite tea spot in the city! It is unmatched in vibes and quality and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I have a tea set from them and every time I use it, people compliment it! Basically, you should definitely come here if you are a tea-lover!
Valley Brook Tea has an extensive selection of teas to choose from, whether you like floral, fruity or toasty teas. I had the Huang Guan Yin, which has a lovely fragrance and a flavor quite like roasted barley.
The cafe itself is pretty, and a nice spot to sit for a couple of hours with a book or to enjoy the company of a friend.
Minus one star because I found the price to be quite steep, at $6.99 for a cup. So, definitely not a daily cup...
