I was not impressed with this place. There are more cons than pros. The menu is very limited, the place is extremely noisy you cant hear the person sitting next to you, and the tables next to the bar are not comfortable to sit at as people standing at the bar keep bumping into you. Portions are ridiculously small and the truffle pasta dish I ordered was too salty with no hint of truffle, and it costs $25! All in all, a bad experience for me and I wont recommend it to anyone. The waiter was very nice though, which partially made up for the rest of the sub-par experience.Parking tip: leave your car for The Hamilton Hotel valet and pay $10 for dining in the restaurant. Don't bother circling for parking on a Saturday night.

First, they gave away our reservation. Second, when we sat down they did provide us with water, but no bread. We never got bread for the entire meal. We asked multiple times. It took a while for the food to come out. They actually forgot one of the meals for the table.Once the food arrived, we all agree that it was tasty and especially the pizza.. The New York strip was well cooked. The Bronzino was average. The scallops were below average. And the salmon was OK.Our server especially was problematic given that he would disappear for many minutes at a time.

Popular after work meeting spot for drinks and light bites. Wait staff don’t seem to realize this is the appeal and push for full dinner orders the moment you sit

The food here was unreal. Nice dim romantic lighting, but still a lively atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend the Bucatini, or the Funghi pizza. The service was really fast, the food came out super quick! The only thing I’d comment on that was less ideal is they may seat you really close to other people, we were seated same bench a foot away from someone else and it’s a bit hard to hear. Overall definitely would come back!!

Everything was good including food and service. However portion slices are really small, especially considering the prices of the dishes are pretty high. So good food, but not great value for money.

I feel like I am being generous with a 2 star review. We had a table for four with a reservation for a 6:30 dinner and it was an underwhelming experience from start to finish. The service was disengaged and disinterested, every request seemed a burden. The menu was interesting, but the food was marginal on arrival. Portions were small, even by big city standards, and flavors were largely absent. The meal was also rushed, mains came out halfway through the appetizers and the waiter was clearing the mains, holding the check, and praying we weren't about to order dessert. The restaurant was busy, but not packed...just poor service management.Overall, I was disappointed and will not return. I would not recommend this to anyone until management is able to improve service, food quality, and the overall experience.

I wish there was a negative star because our experience truly was horrible! We had to find the hostess once we found her it seemed that we were a bother. She refused to seat us at a table, and when asked for the second time, due to a friend having knee issues she rolled her eyes and asked us to speak to the bartender. She was very busy chatting with a young man …. That may have been better done after work hours ! This young lady of Latin descent was super rude. I called the restaurant to speak to general manager sadly he was too busy to come to the phone and I ended up speaking to probably a waiter ! This is so disappointing, we really wanted to bring our family//friends when they come for visits. We will look for other places to dine.

I ordered a three course brunch with salad, eggs Benedict, and tiramisu. I also ordered the unlimited mimosas. Salad was great. Eggs were boiled. Terrible for a Benedict. Tiramisu was good. Mimosas were watered down. Server checked in one time only. I had to ask the manager for the check.

Had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at Via Sophia. On this night, they only were doing their prix fixe menu (I believe). It was four courses for $69, which I thought was pretty good. The ambiance was beautiful yet simple. The staff were nice and the service was good. Wasn’t big fan of the ahi tuna (this was my first time ever having ahi tuna). It just wasn’t for me. The truffle risotto and shortrib tortellini was SOOOOO GOOD! Literally a 10/10. We wished the portions were bigger because it was that delicious. I’d definitely come back for those. The NY strip and halibut were good but didn’t wow us. For dessert, we tried the budino and tiramisu. The budino was good but the tiramisu was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed their drinks.

Everything was fantastic. We got the Steak Tartare and Mushroom Bruschetta, boths very delicious!! For the entrees, i got the NY Strip and my girlfriend got the Tagliatelle. Steak was cooked to perfection with a nice crust, and the Amarone Jus was outstanding! Pasta was also one of the best Bolognese i've had. Overall ambiance was great and will definitely be returning!

Great food and brunch selection! Also a great value for bottomless brunch as long as you don't mind regular mimosas (as opposed to many other flavor options). Kind staff, not too crowded, great ambiance! Will be recommending to friends!

I came here for Valentine’s Day. Via Sophia had a special menu for Valentine’s worth $69 per person plus tax, tips, and drinks. Food was really well thought out and very tasty, and the drinks were amazing.Service was very poor. The portions were very small. All attendees left hungry and not filled with the portions of the plates, even though it was four courses. When we mentioned this to the host who came by our table at the end, they made an out of touch and inappropriate joke and didn’t really acknowledge the fact that we were giving feedback about the experience. During one of the courses, a plate was confused between our table and another table, and the waitress changed the plates that were already served on both tables. I didn’t appreciate or liked that as I don’t know what happened to that plate while it was on the other table. Moreover, some of the cutlery was badly washed and had to return it for it to be exchanged.Shortly after, we received the desserts and immediately were given the check, which I thought was rude as we haven’t even started to eat and the restaurant wasn’t closing at any time soon. I just wanted to leave at that point.I give a 8/10 to the food, but a 2/10 to the service.
