Singing I've got that victory!
It's so happy this place was recommended to me for my birthday. I called a few weeks in advance to reserve.
I was informed that I could make a reservation up to 4 with no down payment. When I call back to add to my reservation, I had to add payment.
My guests was very upset, yet understood.
This place was easy to find.
Semi easy to park. I was a little early.
Street parking for the Win!
Super busy part of town.
People everywhere.
Great, positive vibes.
As soon as we walked up we were able to walk to the front of the line, and once we gave our reservation name they seated us at the bar for a few, this place was gorgeous!
There were a lot backgrounds with plenty of photo apps! I'm in my element!
Soon after, my friends and I were seated. We were seated on the 2nd floor all the way in the back which was cool. I thought it was outdoors, but it's not. It had its own bar and table staff back there. Our table was super friendly, awesome, and apparently everyone's favorite person.
Her name was Naomi.
She was young, energetic and came through with the best suggestions !
We ordered the following.
Thai Chili Jerk Wings
Mama Wings
Crispy Brussel Sprouts
The Victory Half & Half (Crown Peach Whiskey, Lemonade & Iced Tea)
Chimichurri Lamb Chops (served w Spanish Rice)
The Heavy Hitter (Uncle Nearest 1884 Whiskey, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Orange bitters, Splash of Lemon/Lime Soda)
Each and everything was great! Prices were a little high, but they say you get what you pay for and it was definitely worth it!
The dinner menu ends between 10:30pm, and 11pm. At 11pm,, a totally different menu begins and it looks just as good as that dinner menu.
I plan to come back for the late night menu just so I can take advantage of some of the delicious eats on there and partake in another delicious libation.
I ain't got no problem with this place, I just wish they would change the reservation requirement. Even if it's leave a card on file, I can deal with that. However, having to pay $50 per guess in advance when over 4 people it's a little disheartening, it's 2021 guys!
... well 2025 now! Lol
Although this place has since closed, I hope to visit a similar place w the same standard of customer service, food, and beverages !!
Best Wishes Victory !!

The food was decent, but definitely not worth the $600 for the group. 3 catfish and grits and chicken waffles with mimosas.. it wasn’t equivalent at all. I won’t be back. Not worth all the money, for some mediocre food and service (fee)
This place is no longer called victory lounge it’s called YOlO lounge. Do not go here. And see my review on YOLO lounge to see how horrible this place is.

Me and my party enjoyed our time at the restaurant. They are clearly in a rebrand as it was hard to locate the establishment. The staff was very accommodating, especially Kiana who was very attentive. However my friends complained that the food didn't have any taste. They ordered the grits and catfish, grits and oxtails, and the salmon. The staff brought out new food but still lacked taste. Overall it was a good experience
Had a reservation for my bridal party well in advance just for them to be trying to make space and moving chairs around with a sitting over top of each other upstairs. Just to have us walk all the way back downstairs. By the time we finally got seated, WITH OUR PARTY SPLIT UP, they were out of almost everything on the menu. Would never recommend anyone go here especially for a special event or with a big party. Only thing nice was the music and a lady taking pictures. Even the servers attitude was trash.

Be careful when going here, they’ll scam you out with tips , charged us a whole $76 for tip on a $180 food bill for 3 people. An automatic 20% which was $36 and an additional $40, which was an additional 20% on the total of everything including the first tip and total taxes. Please be careful!!!! Plus hidden fees, Eg. the French toast on the menu is $26, but 27.4 on the bill, the mimosa is $30 on the menu but $31.60 on the bill. There’s like and additional dollar and cents for each item which will add up trust me. Be careful!!!!. The service was okay, definitely not worth $76 tip and food was okay, All we had was their French toast and mimosa, no chicken!!, with a total bill of $280. $94 per person for some bread and glass of champagne, never again. I repeat be careful!!!

The bus boy dropped ketchup literally got all over me & kept walking. He absolutely didn't care and if I didn't say anything he would've have gotten me an napkin! The seafood Mac always been my favorite, absolute worstttttt. My hookah was hitting too hard I asked for the hookah lady she never returned, a guy sitting across I think a friend of the owner came and fixed our hookah!! Big ups to him! I live in Baltimore so when I travel to dc I love Victory, this weekend wasn't it!!
If you plan on going here with a big group of people with the expectation of getting drunk for brunch then dont! Had 9 people at my table and we were only allowed one pitcher of mimosas at a time ???? The pitcher didnt even fill everyones glass up after passing it around and then had to wait for the waiter to refill it, just inconvenient and makes no sense for that many people at a table.

Had such a wonderful experience. Our server, Kiana was amazing, very friendly and attentive to our order and our table needs. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for others! Enjoyed celebrating my birthday here.

My fiancé didn't get quality services from the host and she felt uncomfortable and unsafe at the location. The services was very unprofessional which is disappointing to me because I value black owned businesses.
I went to victory a day ago and the food and service was amazing!!! So good I wanted to go back the next day. As soon as we getting to the door they are trying to pay Women down , check ids, look in our bags , then shooing us to the bar. And when I asked why is this happening if it didn’t happen yesterday they said “ because I wasn’t here “ we immediately turned around and left . Not spending my money on bad energy

This place is a vibe with amazing service. However, the reason I don't give them 5 stars is because the food. The oxtails and grits came w 2 oxtails for $35 price point. The steak was good but the eggs were scrambled too hard and not exciting. The catfish should have been seasoned and fried harder as well.
Booked for brunch and was overall a good experience. The food was good and came out fast. Keonna our server was great and very friendly, I will be asking for her again when I visit.
A small group of us went to Victory Restaurant and Lounge for a last minute brunch plan. The morning of I was easily able to book a reservation for 3 originally at 12:15 pm, but after running late and being in a little traffic I was able to push by the reservation to 12:45 pm with ease through Open Table. This was our first time visiting and I can surely say I will be revisiting soon! Walking in the restaurant is nicely decorated with the floral esthetics! The vibe is definitely what you think of and plan for when it comes to “Sunday Brunch” with great music blasting and live DJ. They played R&B music with all the hits and made you want to do a day party afterwards lol. The restaurant is dimly lit but every table has a small lamp which was a nice touch. The restaurant is rather small but the seating is cozy with spacious booths for groups and small intimate tables for parties of 2. Everything on the menu sounds mouth watering, but my fiends and I all coincidentally ordered the crab andlobster omelette which was sooo good and I had a side of grits. The food was bomb! Collectively we had the slightest complaint that the omelette needed salt. They ordered a side of shrimp and said the shrimp was seasoned very well. We didn’t order alcoholic drinks so I can’t comment on that. But overall the place was vibeeeee and I want to return for lunch and dinner, and or try other dishes on the brunch menu!
