Walter’s is a perfect place to grab a bite before or after a Washington Spirit game at Audi Field. The food was good, the menu appropriately varied, service was fine (a little slow given how empty it was), and the atmosphere was classic sports bar but there’s plenty of outdoor seating and only a 10 minute walk to Audi. We plan to make this our regular pre-game spot. Why mess with what works! I would recommend a reservation normally though - we’ve been by here before and it’s been packed before Nats games.

Its good to be a regular here, the staff will stand around and hang out with you. Don't expect them to serve you without having to go over and get their attention if you aren't a regular tho, even when the place is slow they'll make it clear who they want to pay attention to.

This place is cool, not bad at all but I am concerned that some of these reviews are fake bc it was an unusual amount of ppl talking about these “new fries” so I just had to try them.. they weren’t good at all and came out burnt. I sent them back. Outside of that, everything else was cool.

Great happy hour prices, but I guess you get what you pay for. The HH food was edible but not delicious enough for us to order more.

Had a great time with Julia on Tuesday afternoon! She is very accommodating and her recommendation of the new fries was a hit! Our whole group had a great time and we can’t wait to go back!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to leave one for Walters. Thank you Eddie for the attentiveness and exceptional customer service. Whatever it is they changed in their fries is a definite upgrade loved them 10/10. Definitely stop by grab you a drink or a bite if you are in the area and if you are lucky enough to walk in during Eddies shift he makes you feel like VIP.
