Parking: I was looking forward to go to the Watergate Pastry. I knew that they have underground handicap parking. The 2 spaces were taken and there was no available spaces. I waited hoping someone leaves. However, no one left. I gave up and when I went to exit I called for help to explain I couldn’t find a space, I still had to pay the $14 for 25 minutes even though I was told there’s a 10 minute grace I still had to pay for the full time.

Great experience! Easy to communicate with and Fantastic Cake!Ordered an 8” x 8” rum cake for my husband’s birthday. Watergate pastry was super easy to communicate with, their pricing was fair ($50).On pick up day everything was easy, and the employee at the shop was so kind.I’m personally not even a fan of rum cake (it’s his favorite) but we both ended up loving the cake!!! It was creamy, flavorful, flaky, and the perfect amount of sweet!10/10 recommend watergate pastry! And it’s fun to walk around the old historic building while you’re in the area :)Parking: Parking was ok, I was lucky and found a metered spot right outside, it cost a quarter.I’m not super parking savvy, so there probably were even better/ more abundant options than I realized.

Just called to order two cakes for my husbands birthday. I have told him about the orange Cointreau cake for years and I'm so excited he gets to finally taste it! The ordering process was a breeze and please stay tuned for the rest of this review when we receive the cakes

The name “Watergate Cake” is believed to named after the Watergate scandal involving President Nixon in 1972, which was unfolding at the time the cake was popular, I am getting custom cakes for special schedule and never disappointed and always enjoyed every bit of my cake

I was dissatisfied the way it was presented and forgot to write the Happy Birthday name of the person specifically spelled after that not on the cake on it . I called and the response I got from the manager it was plain COLD . !!!!! I have been dealing from the previous owner the last 6 years and I missed their professionalism . Please wake up !!!!! Thanks

I purchased a cake for my parents' anniversary. I was trying to please the chocolate and vanilla lovers in the family and got a cake with both. The upper cake white (vanilla?) and the bottom half was definitely chocolate. We didn't finish it on the night it was served. It was delicious but we all agreed it was even better on the second day. We would order from them again!

We visited late in afternoon so there wasn't much of a selection left. Nice place and I bet mornings are very busy.
