The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. I eat here every day for lunch but corporate needs to stop being cheap and get security for this store. I have witnessed employees get assaulted, multiple people stealing and constantly homeless people sleeping inside on the tables.

I had never been to a Wawa before and I was really surprised at what a nice business this is. The bathroom is available (a rarity in city settings) and the power outlets are working so you can charge your phone. Both good things for tourists. The packaged food is the standard convenience store fare but they do have a made to order sandwich section.

Nothing better than listening to the staff loudly complain and whine about the order you just put in on the kiosk. Don't work here if you're that miserable.

Honestly Pretty mid but slightly unsettling. I have stopped by this Wawa many times while on long walks and honestly it’s mostly just because it’s predictable… in terms of food and service at least. For some reason this Wawa attracts a lot of scary people, like crazy homeless people, Aggressive pan handlers and people who just radiate a menacing aura. That’s not to say everyone who goes there is scary, there’s plenty of fairly chill looking people around there too, nor am I saying this has happened every time I have been there. but I have seen the cops near that store on a few occasions and whenever there is someone troublesome there or something troubling happening, it’s notable. Especially since there’s only one way in or out of the place and multiple times the individual in question has been sitting right outside it. Just kinda sketchy is all.

The Wawa in Washington, DC, is a convenient and popular stop for quick, delicious food and drinks. Located in a bustling part of the city, it's perfect for grabbing a coffee, sandwich, or snack while you're on the go. The made-to-order hoagies are a standout, and the coffee bar offers plenty of options for caffeine lovers. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need quickly.
The service is generally fast and friendly, even during busy times. It’s also a great spot for travelers or commuters looking for a quick meal without sacrificing quality. Whether you need a quick breakfast, lunch, or just a snack, this Wawa delivers the same reliable and satisfying experience that fans of the chain have come to expect. It’s a great addition to DC’s fast-casual food scene!

They seemed short staffed. Very busy waiting for food for a long time. Also, staff not really friendly. The cashier kept staring at me the whole time like I’m gonna steal or something. I have a job like you why would I need to steal from Wawa lol. Find something better to do set of staring at people waiting for their food. It made me very uncomfortable. I’m waiting for my food like everyone else.

Usually it is pretty decent here, but this did irritate me. The coffee should be filled when you give it to a customer. It looks like someone drank out of this already. If we are paying for this please do better.
It’s a WaWa! Always good.

Good for purchase and takeaway, the products are strong and exquisite. The only bad thing is that the voucher and payment system is confusing for those of us who are tourists. Additionally, the machines only accept credit cards.
I ordered a Cheese bacon double burger with additional silver $11 US dollars.

I have gone to this WAWA several times for lunch and the first time was great all the other times have been horrible. I order the same thing each time a roasted chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, buffalo sauce and a pickle. As i have mentioned the first time was great that is what brought me back all the other times. The second time the chicken didn't seem to be cook all the way it was cold. I figured I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try one more time. The third time I asked for my usual with the same toppings. I get my sandwich and there's no tomatoes or pickles on it. It is never really crowded when I go but the associates are always engage with a conversation with another customer while preparing meals, which is not a problem as long as you get the order correct. This store is location in one of the best parts of town and the service needs to comply.

They advertised that it was very quick, but in the end we waited 45 minutes for a simple pizza. AND EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THE ONLY ONE IN THE STORE!!! The atmosphere in the shop is very ugly because it is also a kind of mini market, but I can highly recommend walking to the river with the pizza because there is a very nice park there. The pizza was OK but not really good either
