My last visit to DC was to attend an AIPAC conference 9 years ago and I enjoyed my Time there. Hopefully soon I can pay off my Library Fines and have a Meal There. It was a Fun Visit but there is No Place Like Texas.

I love this place. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The workers are so friendly. The food is amazing. I always get the Isabella and it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. This is my go to spot for lunch!

It’s very important when people say it’s not what you say but how you say it. before i could ask about maybe canceling my order after placing it after a different location , the cashier/owner is who not too friendly or customer-service oriented abruptly interrupted me and rudely dismissed my concern and emphasizing it was my fault. it was like a script, like he’s said it before, like he knows this happens and doesn’t care wether you get your food or money. I had ZERO issue picking up the food but the RELAYED message was very very disrespectful and almost suspicious.. I felt dismissed and scammed, to be honest. God bless honest workers. do better

Just tapped in to my Gouda gobbler and the description doesn’t match what I was served. I was served white onions not red, and no roasted red peppers they chose to give me the pickled green 1s

This place is just ok, plus they always close early, even when you place an order online, when you get there the place is locked and dark and you have to flag down an employee cleaning up inside to get your order, you know, after they first ingnore you, then yell that they are closed, and you have to yell back that you placed and paid for an order online! Then the order isn't right, like even though the receipt says No Sauerkraut, add Cole Slaw, and this is a change you've made before when ordering in person, they not only keep the sauerkraut, don't add the cole slaw, and leave off the dressing, too, so your sandwich is dry and sour (awful!) tasting... Their website says they are open until 2 PM, and I placed (and paid) for my order online at 1:28 PM, and they confirmed the order online as being ready by 1:53 - 1:58 PM, but when I showed up at 1:50, the place was locked up and dark... and my sandwich was awful.

It's OK. It serves sandwiches and coffee. I had hoped it would be themed as in the tv series The West Wing but it wasn't.

They don’t have the best ratings on here so I was a little worried about trying it but their breakfast sandwiches are pretty solid. I ended up going back everyday during my visit to DC.

I unfortunately have to write a review to warn all possible patrons of color that we are not welcomed here. I work at the law firm in the opposite building and was in disbelief with how disrespectful an Asian man was who literally kicked me out after trying to buy a gatorade and some gum. He told me they were closed and wasn’t giving me eye contact and when I asked him why others were in there he literally told me to give him the gatorade back and told me to leave. These people came in after me and were allowed to make their purchases. He literally locked the door when I went outside with aggression lol My only regret was I didn’t record it but I’m surprised that I didn’t react as any human would this day and age to des domination. I must say it’s never a bad idea to push the pen and inform the world of places like this because maybe I can prevent others from this experience and not support a place that has employees upholding a hateful standard in these establishments.

UPDATE: The owner responded to me after this review and apologized for the negative experience I had, and clarified his position. I feel that a little courtesy goes a long way, and I appreciate the owner taking the time to respond, so I have edited my review accordingly.----Cute and convenient location, a good selection of to-go snacks and an excellent selection of hot paninis and sandwiches. The cook was friendly and courteous. However, some major issues. Rude cashier/manager. Tasteless coffee.Detailed pros and cons:PROS:1) Cute spot, plenty of sitting room.2) Clean.3) Lots of choices of to-go snacks, including a lot of protein bars that are more or less keto-friendly.4) Friendly barista.CONS:1) Their cappuccino was completely tasteless. Just awful coffee. 2) The prices on the menu don't include service charges. It said $3.71 for cappuccino, but I ended up paying close to $5. The coffee was tasteless and awful, and not worth any of this money.3) You could see that they are overstocked with bread for their sandwiches. They don't seem to be getting that many visitors, so I would be concerned about the ingredients being stale.
