I unfortunately have to write a review to warn all possible patrons of color that we are not welcomed here. I work at the law firm in the opposite building and was in disbelief with how disrespectful an Asian man was who literally kicked me out after trying to buy a gatorade and some gum. He told me they were closed and wasn’t giving me eye contact and when I asked him why others were in there he literally told me to give him the gatorade back and told me to leave. These people came in after me and were allowed to make their purchases. He literally locked the door when I went outside with aggression lol My only regret was I didn’t record it but I’m surprised that I didn’t react as any human would this day and age to des domination. I must say it’s never a bad idea to push the pen and inform the world of places like this because maybe I can prevent others from this experience and not support a place that has employees upholding a hateful standard in these establishments.

Pretty sure either was bread that was stale or the micro greens were going bad. My friend and I sadly got the same sandwich and same experience for breakfast while visiting Dc.

I got a meeting time wrong and ended up in this area an hour early. It was freezing out and I found this cafe on google and came in to warm up, I didn't get a sandwich although they look amazing but it was such a nice little place to sit and kill time. I got a coffee and large smart water for $6, you don't see that too often

UPDATE: The owner responded to me after this review and apologized for the negative experience I had, and clarified his position. I feel that a little courtesy goes a long way, and I appreciate the owner taking the time to respond, so I have edited my review accordingly.----Cute and convenient location, a good selection of to-go snacks and an excellent selection of hot paninis and sandwiches. The cook was friendly and courteous. However, some major issues. Rude cashier/manager. Tasteless coffee.Detailed pros and cons:PROS:1) Cute spot, plenty of sitting room.2) Clean.3) Lots of choices of to-go snacks, including a lot of protein bars that are more or less keto-friendly.4) Friendly barista.CONS:1) Their cappuccino was completely tasteless. Just awful coffee. 2) The prices on the menu don't include service charges. It said $3.71 for cappuccino, but I ended up paying close to $5. The coffee was tasteless and awful, and not worth any of this money.3) You could see that they are overstocked with bread for their sandwiches. They don't seem to be getting that many visitors, so I would be concerned about the ingredients being stale.

Large selection of sandwiches and each one is a meal. Service is fast and friendly. You order deli style and they call your name. Definitely worth a try!

Breakfast till 11am, however, not listed on Yelp. They will sell you a bagel SANDWICH after 11am but won't just give you a bagel. I just wanted a bagel for breakfast. Nope. They wouldn't do it. Can't just have a bagel. I would give zero stars if I could. How rude and not willing to be customer service focused.

We are visiting DC on vacation and this was a great place to stop for my family. Good food, great prices, friendly service.

Called in for a sandwich.. extraordinary. The choice was mind blowing and did not disappoint when it came out. I had the chicken BLT. So tasty would recommend xx

This deli is run with precision. There are hot and cold sandwich options, soup, salads available at the deli counter, but tons of snack and drink options available in the deli. My salad was fresh, packed with ingredients and ready within minutes of being ordered. If you are looking for a quick fresh bite while in the Capitol area, don't miss this spot.

Stopped here for a late lunch after the museums (an 8 minute walk away). It was exactly what we were looking for! Fast, friendly service, an extensive menu and great sandwiches, and a robust selection of drinks and chips. They even made a peanut butter and jelly (not on the menu) for our 6-year-old which he loved. We ate outside at one of the handful of tables they had out there and left happy!

Delicious sandwiches and fruity smoothies. Nicle spot to grab a quick bite or sit and catch up with friends. A mom and pop establishment, run nice. Comfortable seating. Great place to eat when in Washington D.C. close to union Station

Overpriced, not impressed. We ate at TBSP the day prior, the cafe had great atmosphere and great sandwiches to boot aswell. West Wing was dead, sandwiches cost more and no combo price.
