Had a really terrible experience with the bouncer/manager here. We arrived with a group on a Thursday after dinner to celebrate a friend being in town and one of our friends accidentally walked past the bouncer (who was sitting off to the side in the dark on his phone). He immediately said our friend couldn’t come in — we got the manager, Jordan, who was super dismissive said she “could do something, but didn’t want to.” The worst part was the bouncer then proceeded to physically push us out. It was just such an unnecessary escalation of a totally benign situation, and everyone who worked there was on a massive power trip. We all left feeling pretty shaken and disgusted. The irony is that the place was almost totally empty.
Looking through other reviews, it appears that people have been complaining about this particular bouncer for at least 3 years and management can’t be bothered to do anything about it (unless they just keep hiring rude bouncer after rude bouncer??)
Avoid at all costs!

The bartender was extremely rude to me last night and ruined my night. It was my friend's birthday and she didn't realize they closed early. I happened to have to work later than usual and it took me an hour to get there. When I arrived, although the people inside were allowed to stay later, I was yelled at for trying to walk inside to greet my friend because it was after "last call" and he basically FOLLOWED ME around and harassed me any time he thought I was about to go in while i waited outside alone for them to finish their drinks. Mind you, this was at 9 pm and their online posted hours say they’re open until 11 pm. If he had been nicer about it I wouldn't be writing this but I didn't appreciate his gross tone. Enforcing rules doesn't mean you have to lack decency and respect for other people.

My experience at Wunder Garten was incredibly disappointing due to the excessive aggression displayed by the security staff. I am truly taken aback by their unacceptable conduct.
On Thursday, October 26th, 2024, my friends and I arrived around 10 PM to enjoy a drink, as we had a friend visiting from overseas. We all presented our IDs and settled in, except for one friend who was inexplicably denied entry by the security personnel, despite having his ID as well. In an attempt to resolve the issue, another friend approached the manager for clarification, but was met with a hostile response and no effort to find a resolution.
Concerned about the escalating situation, we all got up to see what was going on. Suddenly, the security guard reacted violently, pushing our friend—who was merely trying to understand the situation—down to the ground in an outrageous display of force. We were all left in disbelief.
I sincerely hope that Wunder Garten will take immediate action to address this incident.

Me and my group of friends arrived at around 10pm on Thursday October 26th 2024 for a drink as our friend was visiting from abroad. Our entire group showed our IDs and proceeded to sit except for our last friend that for no valid reason the security person decided he didn’t want to let in although he also had his ID. Another friend went to get the manager to try to work through the situation and understand the problem. the manager also responded in a very aggressive tone and left the situation without finding a solution.
We all got up to see what was happening and the security person out of nowhere decided to become violent and aggressive. He assaulted our friend that was trying to understand the situation pushing him to the ground in an extreme act of unnecessary violence. We all were extremely shocked. This is truly very uncalled for. Violence is never the answer and having a dialog should be enough.
I hope Wunder Garten will address this incident promptly!!

No smiles, no friendly attitude, he was ignoring our group and said he won’t let our two friends in because they didn’t show their IDs. This is not a club, he doesn’t own the place, we were there to have a drink, relax and enjoy the rest of our evening until things have taken a very strange turn.
I was inside and spoke with the manager Jordan. She said went to the bouncer and had a conversation. Clearly there was a very strange dynamic between the two where Jordan did not want to argue with him. Ultimately she couldn’t do anything and when I asked her if she can take initiative, she said verbatim “I can but I won’t do that” and walked away.
Bouncer got physical with our group physically forcing us out. This happened at 10:24pm on a Thursday night on a day when the business wasn’t seemingly busy. Not only this bouncer cost the business clients who’ve been coming here for years, we will be sharing the experience preventing from going here ever again.
Rest of our group will be posting to review this experience along with the lack of initiative the manager Jordan was able to take. Last note, the bouncer exclaimed he can’t wait to get out not wanting to do his job.

The doorman, for no apparent reason, refused to let one of our friends enter the beer garden, claiming he had tried to enter without showing his ID. Sit outside, drink great beer and eat good fast food. Absolutely recommended for me. The burgers and fries taste really good, large selection of draft beer - everyone will find something. And super nice service. There are various seating options, although many of the seats are beer tent sets. So: definitely try it out
