We celebrated our 12th year wedding anniversary here, and it was the most amazing dinner. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the diligence of the staff (especially Michael and Devon). We laughed all night long. We also had the honor of meeting the humble Chef Danny Lledó, who curated the AMAZING 10-course meal and wine pairing. Can we talk about how delicious the food is? A fantastic experience. We were taken on a journey throughout Spain through the eyes and hand of Chef Lledo and his staff. Impeccable presentation and service. Our close friends brought a bottle of 1995 Haut Brion and a bottle of 1996 Montrachet and they paired extremely well. The sommelier was wonderful as well What an experience! When we return to DC we will definitely return to Xiquet.
We expected a great dining experience and our expectations were met! We all had the executive tasting menu with wine pairings and everything was outstanding. Some of the parings were well chosen, e.g., the crudo with Albarino and the prickly pear dessert with the Schramsburg sparkling wine. This was a great meal! The only challenge was finding street parking during weekday rush hour.
