Our waiter Jimmie was horrible. He ignored us, he didnt introduce himself or represent the restaurant well. I had to ask him for water and let him know I wanted to order something after 30 minutes of being ignored. This was our first experience and we decided not to go back. The food was cold nothing was hot.

I wanted to give a good review but I really think Yardbird is overpriced. The deviled eggs were delicious and the fried green tomatoes but the salad always seems soggy and way too expensive!

The deviled eggs with the bacon jam are delicious. The corn bread was moist and tasty, the steak and frites was cooked to perfection and it tasted great. Very good service and great cocktails.

We are regular customers at Yardbird and took out of town friends and they really enjoyed the experience.

When stepping into Yardbird you should automatically order the Deviled Eggs and an ice tea with lemon. This is a high volume spot but the servers and bartenders like Paul and Tamika do amazingly with making sure each of us feel taken care of. In terms of menu items The Farmer Bowl is fresh and perfect in portion. I like that it’s not over sized so one doesn’t feel stuffed after the meal. The key lime pie is extraordinary and so is there banana bread pudding. Which is massive and could feed a family of eight. The decor is wonderful here with their oval shaped bar and warm upbeat fun tones! This is a perfect spot for brunch or a large family party with all the food on the menu ordered to enjoy! I can't wait to be back!

We enjoyed Sunday brunch at YardBird. The decor is lovely and sets a comfortable atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food; the shareable cinnamon roll, the chicken biscuit sliders, and the smoked salmon avocado toast were all excellent. They were served in hearty portions and were all delicious. There was a bit of confusion with ordering and getting it all correct, but the servers were polite and friendly. Would definitely return to try more dishes!

Many thanks to all the team for taking care of us today, we really enjoyed the food and wine and the team were fantastic around an item we had mistakenly left behind. Greatly appreciated. See you again soon. Best regards Peter

Food was excellent! One of the best Ribeye steaks I've had in a while. Roasted Chicken was excellent as well.

Went here back in September. I’ll never understand the negative reviews to the food at this place as I’ve never had anything bad yet! It has got to be in my top 10 favorite restaurants in DC. I will say I have experienced iffy service which wasn’t the best but the food and ambiance makes up for it.

This go around I decided to get the Wagyu burger. I usually would do the fried chicken, salmon, or french toast depending if it’s brunch or dinner. I’d vary the sides or mooch off my friends and haven’t had anything off putting.

Anyway, something spoke to me to get the burger and I was thrilled. I still think of the burger and it’s been a month+ since I’ve had it. My friends will tell me I need to let it go but I simply won’t.

I do want to add that the server attempted to sell me on the steak frites after I inquired on the price since it’s labeled “MP” on the menu. I believe at the time it was $75 and I thought that was not worth it. At one point she highlighted it was boneless. I chuckled as I’ve never experience a bone-in steak frites before.
