I had Yasmine cater my son’s pre wedding party. I live 2 1/2 hours from DC so I depended on someone that could really tell me what I needed. Working with Yasmine was phenomenal! Most importantly, the food was out of this world. Even after the wedding, which was awesome, people were coming up to me talking about how good the food was. My only regret is that I didn’t take home any leftovers!!!! That just means, I’ll have to make a visit to DC to get some!!!! Thank you Caro, Jimmy and staff. You are much appreciated.

I ordered the falafel sandwich and it was unexpectedly very spicy (with no warning on the menu), it made my lips burn! I was also hoping for a fluffy/fresh pita to come with my hummus but it was sad and flat. Mint limonata was yummy.

Yasmine’s has always been a place that I wanted to try. Upon sitting down we were waiting for a waiter to come up to us for about 10 minutes, and no one ever came up to us to ask for our order. So I thought I had to order at the Kiosk. Shortly after ordering two white men sit next to us and immediately the waiter comes up to him with water and takes their order. The waiter proceeds to continue to ignore us. He wouldn’t even look at us. Time goes by and I hear my name called so I pick it up and realize that ordering at the kiosk is basically ordering To-go. So we get our order and sit back down. Still the waiter doesn’t come up to us. We finally ask for water and it was given to us reluctantly. Overall the experience was not it and I will never be spending my money there again.

I would always see Yasmins in Union Market and this particular day my sister wanted to try it. We sat down and wasn’t sure if we should order at the kiosk or with a waiter. First red flag: 10 minutes go by and no one comes up to us but the table to our left has servers approaching them immediately and consistently. so we decided to order at the kiosk. 2nd red flag: there was a pool of water at the seats next to our. this couple sits there and the waiter comes to clean it up immediately and brought water. And if you’re wondering about the couple.. yes they were. The waiter was not. We get our food finally and have to go pick it up instead of them bringing it to us and the waiter brings the couple water while he ignores us. So I go up to him and ask for water and he gives it to me reluctantly. My sister and I are Black women so we felt very uncomfortable because we were clearly being treated differently.

This place is definitely a good spot to chill and enjoy yourself or come with a friend. Lebanese food and drinks. Get the Lamb Kabob sandwich. You’re welcome in advance. Right inside Union Maket.

Had an awesome experience at Union Market’s Yasmine. Plenty of high top seats surrounding a quick Lebanese kabab shop. Out of so many places to choose, I’m excited to come back and enjoy yet another mouth-watering kebab & their INSANELY DELICIOUS FRIES. The lamb kebab was tasty (especially with the sahawiq add-on sauce), but the fries stole the show. They have a great spice to them, come with a creamy sauce & are worth the extra calories. I’m so happy the server suggested them. I recommend to stop by and grab a solid meal or just the fries while in the area. Plenty of drinks, salads and other sandwiches too. Looking forward to returning soon.

Long time customer, terribly disappointed with the fries we got this week. The style was totally different from what they’ve served since the restaurant opened. They were like cheap double fried fries you’d find at any bar happy hour. The fries used to be the best part of a Yasmine meal, and were known all over DC! What’s going on??

Jimmy is always so pleasant and welcoming. His smile is contagious and his chipper personality is refreshing. We always come after work before happy hour and we still end up leaving happy before the happy hour :)

Have been a repeat customer of Yasmin since they opened. Have read it this place five out of five previously but unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down quite a bit over the past year. Really hoping they gotta turn things around as. I really used to enjoy food in this restaurant.

Kebab was great for the price. Located inside the Union Market District with a nice open cafeteria type atmosphere. This is a great spot for a quick meal.
