Amazing breakfast and coffee. It gets busy but our group of 4 was able to get seating at 9am on a Sunday. The baked goods are also delicious and pricing was reasonable.

Delightful coffee and pastries that embody a true fusion of authentic Palestinian and Western recipes. Superbly done, will come back whenever I’m in DC.

I definitely recommend getting there early because there’s always a long line. We waited around 20 minutes to order and couldn’t find a table for at least 35 minutes since we were a large group, but it was totally worth the wait!
My fiancé recommended this place and I’m so glad he did. The vibes, the food, the service, everything about this place was amazing. Just make sure to get all your breakfast picks before 11:00 AM since they switch to the lunch menu right after that and you won’t be able to order from the breakfast menu anymore.
Here are my ratings:
• Zaatar croissant 6/10
• Zaatar ka’ak 8/10
• Lahme b ajin 7/10
• Labaneh soft serve (weird combo but we loved it) 7/10
• Breakfast egg pita 10/10
• Smoked amba chicken 9/10
• Harissa honey chicken shawarma 6/10
• Crispy falafel (dry) 5/10
• Levantine pickles 8/10
• Batata tots 4/10
Overall, such a great place and I’ll definitely be coming back!

My absolute favorite restaurant in DC. The food is the best I’ve had in years. Yellow was featured on Netflix and I see why. The food is great each time. I love seeing the barista West each visit, he makes my day ❤️

This place is popular for a reason. The coffee here is really good, I recommend the Smoked Dirty Chai and Baklava Mocha latte here. The harissa and soujek were packed with so much flavor and a definite 10/10. Our waitress was really friendly and the atmosphere was perfect.

It was pouring, so we knew the line wouldn’t be that long. We’ve finally got to try Yellow. We ordered the BBQ lamb (too sour for my liking) and the chicken (was okay). We had to buy store-bought pita chips for the hummus because the ones we got were very stale. The coconut cardamom iced coffee was too bland.
Honestly, the place is totally overhyped, but I guess it’s one of those “check it off the list” kind of spots.
The food and drinks are delicious! The only issue I have is that it is pricy for the portions you get, and it gets very loud in there because it gets so packed.
