Empty lounge on a Friday night. I stopped in for literally 1 drink (Jameson and ginger ale) while waiting for friends to go elsewhere and they charged me $26.00 which included a service charge. I looked at my credit card statement and they billed me for $38.00! Beware, you might be overcharged.

It was so beautiful ? and the vibe was perfect !

The website says reservations are a must as if the place is that busy. I had a reservation for 2 at 4pm. We arrived on time and there was not a soul there. The waitress seated us and informed us that brunch was still being served. The brunch/dinner times are not clear on the website. We viewed the brunch menu and asked about the cornbread. We were told they didn’t have it. We asked about the deserts. We were told they don’t have deserts. In our last attempt, we asked about the oxtails and grits. We were told the chef doesn’t know how to make the oxtails. At that point we decided to leave. So much for trying to support black owned businesses. Total wast of time.

Be prepared to have your ears blown off with loud trap music throughout the night while you’re eating. The deco was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely our waitress was kind and sweet she tried her best but it was hard with the loud music.

Now to the food , presentation of delivering the food was nice but the taste was not for me. They didn’t have half the food on the menu. Mashed potatoes was too salty along with seafood pasta, can’t forget the chicken wings had no taste what soo ever the only thing that taste good was the sauce it was dipped in. Fried rice wasn’t for me again salty as hell. Felt like the chef just poured the whole salt jar in all the food. Waitress forgot half our order waited an extra hour to just to remind them. No real utensils gave us plastic ware. Be prepared to pay 20% gratuity up front.

So if you don’t care for good serivce, good food but love loud trap music throughout the night then this is the place for you. Again this is my opinion not to discourage anyone from not going. Just be prepared!!

Food was over salted, cocktails below average. Music was very loud. Dj only played trap music. Service was very poor. Server forgot our order and didn’t comp us for the error. They “ran out” of the oxtail and lamb chops. Only positive was the interior design. Would not go back
