I visited this past Sunday with my family. The food overall was tasty and the blueberry muffin was especially good. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The only downside was the açaí bowl—it was still frozen solid and too icy, as if it hadn’t fully thawed. It would have been much better if it had been softer and melt-in-your-mouth.

I wish this was my neighborhood coffee. The staff are so lovely. One refilled my personal water bottle for me.
Also the food is delicious, there’s good variety and the seating is comfy. My only complaint is the water faucets were really hot last time I visited but maybe that was a fluke.
Ugh, I may need to move to Columbia Heights so I can visit more often.

so glad i spotted out this gem on my early plans to waiting for my workshop class in the columbia heights area. it’s def a peaceful feel from the chaos on 14th street + as i wallow in its soothing ambiance, i shall unwind a little longer. the youebe smoothie is yummmm

Omg the cashier I think her name is selam has to be the most genuine and very welcoming person I’ve ever seen! I’ve been to this cafe multiple times and she always has a smile with very respectful way of talking to customers. 10/10 food and delicious chai latte!!

I got the carrot blast smoothie. Couldn't have started my day better than that. Actually it might have been a little heavy on the tumeric for my taste, but still made me feel alive with delicious healthy ingredients.
