Our third or fourth time dining at Zeppelin. The greeting and service were both terrific. The food and cocktails were really really good. We thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Excellent food and service. The sushi is very good. Good selection of Sake. A little too noisy for me.
The food and drinks are amazing, the bar tender Jake was friendly and comical. The Assistant Manager took care of us as we didn't have a reservation, I recommend getting one. Great place you will enjoy the sushi and desserts
Great ambiance and decent service. Overall a cute place and sushi was definitely top of the line.
Had a great experience here, starting with being seated at a great table for a date. Waiter gave us perfect recommendations for some rolls and it was just the right amount of food. Great tasting and presentation. Ambiance was great for talking and lovely decor throughout. Overall I enjoyed the night very much!
There was a large hair in my nigiri. But the server promptly took it back and got a fresh plate, along with complimentary sake. Great service, but how does the kitchen not see that come out?
We have a nice experience food really delicious. Also our drinks were really good the ambient is chill and nice, service was ok cannot complain but cloud be little better. Overal 7.5/10
If I had a million dollars I would blow it all on sushi, and a good chunk of that change here! - I went to a sushi restaurant and am coming away raving about a spring roll. the beef spring rolls were filled with the juiciest, warmest, most flavorful meat in a thin layer of crisp - the drink menu was a bit overwhelming and the drink categories did not seem to have any theme, but my gin cocktails as fruity and delicious! i love a light citrus drink with rice meals to kinda counteract the denser flavors - the wasabi soy edamame was delicious. coated in wasabi specks to provide the key aspect of spice to interact with the salt - the menu was expensive with pages of booze and sashimi, but the handroll options were limited. we tried to rainbow roll, the zeppelin roll, the spicy tuna roll, and the crunchy spicy scallop roll. - the spicy tuna was a simple testimony to the quality of the fish. the rainbow roll was a more enhanced version with thick melting cuts of fish on the top. this was quality fish. - the crunchy spicy scallop was the perfect combination of textures. the scallops legit melted on my tongue while the tempura flakes added a crunch. the rice on each roll was perfectly cooked and not too heavy to pull away from the more mild understated crab or yellowtail flavors. - the Zeppelin roll was amazing. get it. DO IT. maybe it's the eel sauce and spicy mayo but I just loved every second of this spicy, sweet, jalapeño flavor - we got a complimentary chocolate mousse that was quite rich and decorated with gold flakes. I was very pleased with this! our waitress was attentive and we were seated on the outdoor patio with tons of nice clean patio tables. The inside is pretty small but the place was packed. lots of waitstaff, not too personal or chatty, but a well run spot!
Love this place!! Sushi is always delicious, sometimes it takes a little bit to come out on a busy night but it's worth the wait. Drinks are really good and the patio has a great vibe!
Everything was just perfect! My girlfriend loved everything. Everyone was really nice to her as well.

Manager wasn't particularly welcoming. Wait staff was excellent. Food was very good, well-priced, and varied. Great drinks menu. Has a nice buzz and ambiance yet we could still hear each other. Great option.
Excellent food, excellent service as always. We have been here MANY times and have never been dissapointed!
After living in Japan from r three years I find many good Japanese restaurants but none quite like those restaurants in Japan. Then I found Zeppelins in DC! I love the food, the service and the ambiance! Presentation was simply beautiful !
Best sushi restaurant so far in the City according to my son who has lived her 1.5 years. We both thought it was really wonderful. It was melt in your mouth sushi and highly recommend ordering the Chef's Special and wished we had upgraded to premium. I love eel and my son loves salmon and we both thought our meals were so good that we had to order more! The dessert was light and fluffy and was told it was made with pastry cream, orange liquor, chocolate, and black pepper. Who could come up with a recipe like that! Once tasted on your tongue it was just a perfect consistency and taste combined! Highly recommend this place! Our server was attentive and made sure we had enough water, enough food and was great to talk to! Thank you Raven for making this an even nice experience for mom and son!

Amazing food but the bartender was clearly drunk and it made things uncomfortable. Also the food runner did not know which fish was which and the bartender did not come over to list them out.
Other servers seem good and I would return for the food and just not sit at the bar If he was working. I got the sushi combo and the tofu Agedashi - both delicious.
