Zion Kitchen Reviews
It’s SO HARD to find African cuisine the food MIGHT taste great depending on what day and time you come in but the customer service is always bad. The portion size for the amount is ridiculous. I’ve learned to make it myself at this point and I’m pleased with my own cooking. More palm oil than egusi smh

Zion Kitchen is a must-visit spot for authentic Nigerian cuisine in DC. The restaurant offers a range of traditional dishes, including jollof rice, plantain, goat meat, egusi, turkey, fish roll, meat pie, and puff puff, all of which are well-priced and presented. The food is absolutely incredible, and every bite feels like a taste of home. The staff are patient and accommodating, happy to answer questions and make recommendations. While the Zobo drink may benefit from a touch more sweetness, the food is the real star of the show, with generous combos that include favorites like the #1 combo with jollof rice, chicken or goat, and plantains. Diners can see their food being prepared, adding to the excitement. There is free but limited parking, and the restaurant's location makes up for it. Many customers have noted the nice renovations and helpful new menu. With a few tweaks to the jollof rice flavor and some adjustments to the dining area, Zion Kitchen is set to become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
