This place was suggested by a delightful local person who goes there every Thursday. From outside it looks like a small place but once you enter you see the high ceilings and the white walls with beautiful Greek photography and historical photos. It’s not cramped and feels airy. The way you order food is also nicely organized. You don’t have to wait to be served, so this made the place even more relaxing and interactive. Food was excellent. We had the souvlaki platter, the crispy zucchini, sample platter, and rosé with chilled glasses. The souvlaki was a special treat!

I feel like I may have ordered the wrong thing by getting the combo plate, but the greek fries & greek salad are yummy! Super pretty spot to eat outside at, unfortunately got bit by a lot of mosquitoes but it’s August in DC. Also, very convenient off the Red line.

We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the food
Except the lentil soup the hummus and the tzatziki was very ordinary
In fact
they charged $2 for the pita and it was horrible
Not fresh and was microwaved
It soon became hard and was not edible
Also there was no AC running inside and was a bit stuffy
Though it was very close to Dupont circle it’s not recommended as there are other Choices in that area

The last time I was here with friends we all enjoyed our food. This time, my friend loved her salad but I was extremely disappointed in the falafel pita sandwich. The pita was thin and crispy, so it broke into small pieces before I could take one bite. There was no sauce, so it was dry and difficult to eat. This needs to be changed!

The people who work here are friendly and love to share the history of the place.

It was a hot humid day when I last visited and their A/C could not cool enough to keep us comfortable.

VERY DISAPPOINTING.... This place used to be great.. but this visit was horrible. Pizza was undercooked with hardly any toppings. Also the AC wasn't working apparently. Way overpriced for what we got this time.

I next to never leave reviews unless bribed (see: mexican restaurant that gave me a tequila shot), but I just HAD to come on here and review Zorbas. I ordered the pallini zucchini (i think) and it was SO GOOD i sat here and ordered a second lunch - more zucchini, and a yero. both incredibly delicious. great portion sizes. i am bummed i dont live in the area but for the sake of my waistline that is probably best. i dont have a super refined palette, so i do tend to keep my foods pretty basic and stick to what feels safe for me but here theres something for everyone. def recommend.

Ordered via UberEats only receive soggy limp fries and a meager portion of yero. Not worth the 47.86 I spent on the food and delivery. Very disappointing.

1st visit, have gluten allergies, informed the person behind the counter, she was immediately knowledgeable about the gf items on the menu. Ordered the appetizer sampler, souvlakli plate, and chicken shish kebab all gluten free. The gluten free pita was amazing. The dips were delicious. Both dinners were very good. The tables were all very cramped together, which given how good the food is, is understandable, but had the restaurant been busy, it would have been too crowded. Thankfully for us, it wasnt busy at all when we went.

Loved this spot! The food was super fresh and delicious, and the wine and beer selection was on point. The staff was so friendly and attentive—it made the whole vibe even better. Definitely coming back next time I’m in DC!

Food ok. Not much impressed. Been in Greece and had lot of greek food before.Between fast stand a real cafe. Decent service, portions are not so big and not a great quality. Greek beer 10 bucks is too much for such place.
