As die-hard Capriotti’s fans—especially frequent visitors to their Southern Delaware locations—we’ve always appreciated the brand’s generous portions and signature flavors. Unfortunately, the Bear, DE location consistently falls short of that standard.

When they actually make what you ordered this place is great. Unfortunately, you never know what you’ll get there. Tonight the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was an absolute gem in the sense he clearly was annoyed someone called and made him work. I repeated what I wanted twice (totally fine, I’ll repeat it as often as needed to ensure it’s captured correctly) and it was still made incorrectly. Sub was still fine (taste wise) despite missing things I ordered and adding...

Turkey was dry so Bobbie was no good. Reached out to give them a chance to make it right and got radio silence. Plenty of other good sandwich shops in the area, skip capriottis.

Update: Owners reached out and resolved the issue. Will be back to give them another shot
