“I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago and have been in love with their lamb gyro since. I recently needed food catered for my graduation party and immediately knew it has to be from here.

The food was amazing. We had chicken and lamb gyros for my party. Everyone loved it.

But what stands out the most is the owner. He has ALWAYS been a wonderful human to interact with. He is kind, caring, generous and all around amazing person. The food is out of this world but knowing my money is supporting his business is even better.

“Last night, my wife and I tried Cheddar’s for the first time. We both ordered steaks with sides—I had the ribeye and my wife had the sirloin. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. My ribeye had a bit more fat than I prefer, but overall the food was good. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and we will definitely be going back.
Follow-up: I decided to add to my review after dining here at least five times now. Unfortunately, my wife and I experienced the same issue for the second time when we entered the restaurant. There was no one available to greet us, and we stood there awkwardly waiting for someone to acknowledge us and show us to a table. When an employee finally arrived, she completely ignored us and instead went to assist a woman who had entered after we did. She then disappeared into the kitchen to check on the woman’s takeout order. Throughout all of this, we were never acknowledged or even told that someone would be with us shortly. The experience was just as disappointing when we left. Two employees were standing at the register near the exit, yet neither one said anything to us. At most restaurants, you would at least expect a simple “Goodnight” or “Thank you for coming.”
Everything else about our visit was fine, but these are two areas that really need attention. A simple greeting when customers arrive and a courteous acknowledgment when they leave can make a big difference in the overall dining experience—and, in my opinion, would go a long way toward earning a better rating.“

“I walked in and was greeted appropriately. I tried the Grilled Salmon egg and cheese and the French toast egg and cheese that was recommended.. Food took as long as one would expect with it being made to order and was every bit of amazing. Staff was personable as well.“

“First time ever eating at Bob Evans. Very few customers in the building, which makes me a little nervous. Greeted quickly and sat right away (go figure). Ordered the Steak Tips and Lemon Chicken Breast with fully loaded Mashed Potatoes and corn. Felt like eating home, simple. A Resturant better suited for the older generation, nothing fancy here. Simple and plain.“

“I happened upon this establishment a few weeks ago while waiting to take the long drive to EWR. I stopped in, perused the menu, and decided upon lamb chops with the non spicy house sauce, Mac n cheese, and candied yams. The food was one word…FANTASTIC! The service by the bartender (I decided to sit at the bar) was wonderful; the lady spoke to me as tho we’d known each other for years! She was very gracious. And the decor and music was so inviting, not to mention the clean bathrooms! My overall experience was amazing. And here it is, I’m back today, a Tuesday, where they’re closed😂. I pray that the staff is taking much needed time off from thier awesomeness. I’ll be back tomorrow ☺️❤️🫡“

“We just had a bridal shower there in May 2025. We picked Chelsea Tavern because it was in a central location for our 2 families to come together and celebrate. All I can say is that everything was fantastic! The service, the room, the attention to detail was perfect! The food was phenomenal! The portions were huge and tasted terrific! Madelyn was a wonderful hostess and Rob the best bartender and pancake bar chef! We couldn’t ask for a better day. Picking Chelsea Tavern was the best decision and the bride to be was so happy and said everything was exactly as she had imagined. Thank you to everyone involved, it was the most special day 🌸💗🌸“
