We ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue Boli and the chicken was unpalatable. It was ground to mush and looked as bad as it tasted. We’ve eaten here before and loved the food and service, but this menu item was a waste of $13.00.

The pizza is an acquired taste, I think. The cheese is an odd texture and taste...not horrible but not great. The sauce reminded me of Chef Boyardee flavor. The Greek salad was exceptional though! Service was great, atmosphere is very loud.

The service from our waiter was wonderful BUT I ordered the chicken parm waited approximately 20 minutes for my order & when I got my food it was SO over cooked & burnt you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. I sent it back only to wait another 25 minutes for the same outcome if not worse. Mind you they were NOT busy at all. Then when I asked to speak to the manager she had a very bad/poor attitude. They also gave my mother in law & childrens pizza to the wrong table so we had to wait another 10 minutes or so for them to make another 1. WILL NOT be back. Will find another Grottos to go to!!
I only gave it 2 stars because it was clean and the staff was welcoming. The food, however, was sub-par, at best. Cold fries, which I think is the worst offense of any eatery. Fries should always be crispy and hot, not soggy and cold. The meatball sandwich was also not that well prepared. They were not busy when I went in, so there should be no excuse.
