Don’t waste your money and walk less than a mile to the cvs/Dunkin’ for whatever you need. Got a monster energy drink for double the normal retail price. Should be considered robbery to charge $7 for a $3 drink.

Idk how this company has so many good reviews. We have been going back and forth with multiple "managers" to resolve an issue with the home we are staying in. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a smell that took us by surprise. Then further inspecting our unit, it was far from the clean and healthy environment that is expected when on vacation. I dont know where to begin.. we begun our vacation by rewashing all of the beds because there was CHUNKS of hair in not only my bed but also the bed my son was expected to use. Then i had to rewash all of the towels becausr the smelled like a wood burner (in the middle of summer). Then i had my son sobbing saying he wanted to go home because of all the bugs and how he wanted me to hold his nose for him to use the restroom. the dishes were all slimy and definitely did not look cleaned, so yet again another thing we had to clean. The blinds were broken in half of the rooms, lights didn't work, drawers and doors were not working...which we were able to look past but what we aren't able to look past is the fact that we woke up with BITES all over the three of us. And the business claims they can't move us because of a "cleaning problem". Like excuse me ? This is not JUST a cleaning problem. So thank you for ruining our vacation. And doing nothing to compensate for our God awful experience.
Do not stay here after Labor Day. It’s a huge resort but it’s very poorly managed for rental guests. The parking space numbers are not in sequential order , the pools and beach access gates are locked - including beach bathroom access. The only pool is open is in front of EDGEWATER BLDG. the umbrellas- 20 minutes for the guy to set up . We are here for a friends beach 3 day retreat but we are so far disappointed & unimpressed with Sea Colony resort. VACASA RENTAL CO TOTALLY MISINFORMED US SBOUT THE AMENITIES BEING AVAILABLE THRU THE 10th of September.

509 was outdated, not cleaned well at all, upon arrival my 2 year old sent his car under the couch, I moved it to get to his car and found piles of sand, bug, and 2 rotten moldy apples. Floors were sandy and dirty. Carpets were very slippery and had no grip to the tile floor. Everything was crooked on the walls, toaster was absolutely disgusting and has never been cleaned. Bathroom in the back was horrible. Main bath was disgusting and moldy. Faucet crooked, and toilet non stop running. For $2K for the week I would expect it to be more family oriented and at least cleaned correctly.
Vacasa Rental in Bethany Beach, Delaware #1: When we arrived, within 12 hours, the front door lock failed. Vacasa didn't care to come and fix it after several phone/messaging attempts. We put in several "tickets" and couldn't lock the front door all trip. #2: The pots/pans in the kitchen were FILTHY. Since I'm a cook, I spent several hour SCRUBBING pots/pans so they were usable. Again, tried to tell Vacasa with no response. #3: After day 3, the smoke alarms were beeping so we had to deactivate them all but Vacasa didn't care. We lived in the house the rest of the week with no smoke alarms. How hard is it as a management company to keep up with "management"? Clean the pots and pans (at least check on their condition before new people take possession), and change the batteries in the door locking system and fire alarms on a schedule. We paid $7000 (yes, 7 thousand) for this house. That's enough money to paid to have this house meet minimum standard of cleanliness and safety. The house was fine, great location, but the management company Vacasa was AWFUL. Steer clear of this one.
Horrible customer service. Nasty cooking areas. Stale food. Less than mediocre in every way. They put my food in a bag they found on the floor.

Pretty good imo, because I only come here to get Dip & Dots, but the sizes are SUPER small, also everything here is really expensive. Id definitely suggest just going to the Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robin’s across the road.

I would never use Vacasa again. We rented 911 Harbour House in Sea Colony. We paid for a beach front penthouse so we could fit my whole family. After a few days, the air conditioner in the condo stopped working. Vacasa customer service was not only terrible, it was nonexistent. We called countless times, sent emails, and went to the office twice. At the office we were handed a box fan for our 5 month old grandson. NO ONE ever came to check or did the unit. With 90 degree days, we sent my daughter’s family home because the condo was so uncomfortable. After we returned home, we were told we’d receive a small refund for those 2 days because the owner of the condo considered air conditioning an “amenity”. They would not refund us for the days we went without. Never again.
Worth it for the pretzels, otherwise worth skipping. In the middle of lunch rush the upstairs stand was out of hot dogs and to get one downstairs had to wait in a line with people ordering subs, where only one person was working with the all the urgency of the DMV.It's likely a profitable business due to a semi captive audience, but with a little competent management, it could be so much more than it is

Great community feel. Didn’t stay on the beach in the condo’s. Used the Sea Colony app to utilize the Tram service to go to the beach. It was so easy! The amenities are great; pickle ball and tennis courts are beautiful. Didn’t get a chance to view the fitness center but I did see a lot of people using the facility.
We’ve stayed at Sea Colony and booked through Vacasa two times in the last 3 years. Each time, cleanliness and maintenance have been an issue. During the most recent stay we entered the home to find the bathrooms filthy and belongings of previous guests left behind. The floors were barely swept, if even at all. When we asked for housekeeping to return to clean the house again, they sent one person with one rag and a broom. One set of sheets had stains on them. We asked for new sheets to be delivered, but none ever came. Keep in mind these stays are several thousands of dollars a week. The amenities are great and Bethany Beach is a wonderful city, but Vacasa is dropping the ball when it comes to property management.
