Fresh food cooked to order just the way you asked . Service with a smile and checks our order to be sure it’s right before we leave. Crab cakes are the best! Pan seared tuna and deviled eggs topped with crab, WOW!

I lived in NYC for years. As a result, I was fortunate enough to have access to some of the freshest seafood in the world. I cook a lot -- and I'm really, really picky when it comes to buying fish. And let me tell you...this place has the freshest / best in the area. The salmon and halibut are standouts -- but I've never had even a mediocre piece of fish from this place. Five stars and two thumbs up.

The best fresh seafood anywhere. Been coming here for years and never once let down. The owner Andy is a stickler for quality and so patient and helpful in making sure you get exactly what you want. Love it.

We get fresh seafood from South Bethany Seafood nearly every time we’re in town and it is always so delicious. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, which is the icing on top.

Google hours say Monday 12-6, when I arrived the sign in the window said call for hours and they were closed. Family was very disappointed

This place gets 2 stars for the food. We got a pound of scallops, pound of mussels, steak and cake which is their crabcake and a small key lime pie. The steak was mediocre at best and the crab cake was the same size and thickness as a McDonalds happy meal cheeseburger. It was just a thin, sad looking crab cake. My girlfriend and I split the steak and cake between us and she says she could barely taste the crab meat where I couldn't taste the crab meat at all. All I could taste was the breading inside of it. Maybe this is typical for a Delaware crab cake, but us being from Maryland were expecting a little more substance. The scallops and mussels were okay. The key lime pie was great. If we would have skipped the steak and cake we probably would have had a better review of this place, however, we didn't and it will be the last time we decide to get seafood from here. This place gets 5 stars for the awesome customer service we got. The person taking our order was very nice.

Must be family and friends with all these lies. I mean comments. I give food reviews wherever I travel to. I'm gonna keep it ?. I was vacationing here for the weekend. The first place I found was a spot called steamers. The crabs smelled so good from outside, and inside as well. I was very disappointed to find out they had sold out. I went on good ole Google and this place came up. I am a crab lover, however after stopping here. I don't ever want crabs again. I purchased med males 40 per dozen. I could tell how light the bags was they weren't gonna be any good. Boy was I right. The crabs taste, and smelled like ammonia. The first 2 I ate were over cooked. That 3rd one smelled horrible. I opened 2 more and they smelled the same. I felt sick on the stomach and had a terrible headache. I wanted my money back before I left Delaware but they had already closed. The only reason they got one star from me was because . I couldn't comment otherwise. If you are traveling to Delaware. FYI don't stop here. You will be terribly disappointed ?

After coming to BB twice and never locating a decent seafood restaurant with swordfish and lobster, we were pleased to find South Bethany Seafood Market. Perfect for take out, the food was delicious and well portioned for the price. It’s a little tricky to navigate getting in/out of the plaza parking lot as a non-local, but it’s worth the struggle. Next up: trying the nine layer cake!!!This has become a fast favorite for us, and when we are back, this will be one of our choice dinner spots.

The only reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because 10 isn't an option! 2nd year in a row of outstanding seafood!!!! The 10lbs of crab and 2lbs of shrimp went down like a fat kid on a seesaw, the whole group was VERY happy.
