Don Chuy Mexican Restaurant

I can’t unfortunately call this a Mexican Restaurant. It’s more like a sinking ship…. The soup we ordered was a bowl of water. The burritos…. I don’t even know how to word it, making them at home or going to Taco Bell would have been more flavorful and more enjoyable.

We ordered a quesadilla to go…. And honestly it was seriously sad to see what looked like a kid size quesadilla in a to-go tin and nothing else. No rice or beans. No vibrance in food. It looked absolutely sad.

The people were nice but guys, this restaurant is one to just drive by. I normally don’t give terrible ratings but this food was really a waste of an evening and one we will not be coming back to.

My husband and I ate here Saturday night. The food was fantastic. My husband said the seasoning in the beef fajitas was really good and the refried beans tasted fresh. I had the shrimp tostados and wow were they amazing. Our waitress was great. 10 out of 10 will eat here again.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday after golf, there were 7 of us. We were able to take advantage of the buy one and get the second lunch at half price.
Food was acceptable. I am certainly not a expert on Mexican food but the refried beans were watery and the dish had only one enchilada on it. Meat was kinda crumbling minute steak.
We will be coming back and I will try another dish.

The best authentic Mexican we have experienced. The staff are super friendly and makes us feel like family. We haven't gotten a meal we didn't LOVE!!! MUST EXPERIENCE!!!!
