“Texas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite restaurants…and my dining experience today cemented that even more. Matt was our server and he was EVERYTHING my family needed and more! We were waiting for 2 other guests to arrive and he was so patient! He was so great with my toddler! He was on the ball with everything we needed! Our food was cooked perfectly! My 1.5 year old got to meet Andy Armadillo and got small toys to play with! Thank you for accommodating my family so well…Definitely requesting Matt next time!!!“

“We stopped in to Magnolia’s Restaurant looking for a good hearty homestyle meal, and we were more than satisfied. My wife ordered the crabcake and scallops with a side of fried zucchini and coleslaw and I ordered the Fried codfish and oysters with the sides of cucumbers & onions and potato salad. Our dinner started off with a generous house salad, which was crisp and fresh. The crabcake was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The scallops were sweet and flavorful. The codfish was flaky and delicious and the fried oysters made to perfection. The side dishes were of generous portions and definitely freshly made. As much as this dinner was completely satisfying and filling, we just needed to try something for dessert and chose the plain cheesecake. The cheesecake was absolutely the best we’ve ever had and we’re from New York. Charlotte, our waitress was absolutely wonderful and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.“

“Veronica’s is by far the best pizza in Kent County—and maybe even the entire state! In my opinion, nothing beats brick oven pizza, and Veronica’s does it right. They even have GF, vegan and vegetarian options! I’m always greeted with great energy, and you can feel the good vibes the moment you walk inside.“

Luigi's Pizza is awesome. no other place has cheese steaks this bomb.. my sub was packed with meat and the bun was awesome done to the last bite. The fries were on point and the amount of them, plus the fried mushrooms I got was more than anywhere else gives you and they were perfect too!“

“Absolutely loved their food. I had the Thai Basil with chicken spicy, Pad Thai with chicken, and their Spring Rolls. The food was hot and delicious. I’ve ordered over the phone and in person both times the customer service was excellent. My first time I would have eaten in, but they were packed and that’s a great sign to me. Love Love Love!!!

Parking: Plenty of parking in a shared parking lot for the shopping strip.

Kid-friendliness: My children(3) all came in with me and it was perfectly acceptable.“

I have tried two another things and I didn’t like the smaller portions they gave me with those other platters so I will just stick with the amazing okra stew with fufu. It is good every time I order It.“

“I have lived in Delaware for 78 years and never heard of this place. We went to Virginia restaurant on eastern shore for great seafood. They closed their doors during the pandemic. Our friends have been looking on line for local restaurants that serve seafood we like. Checked your restaurant out the first part of August. Food is delicious. Our compliments to the chef. Staff very friendly and service was excellent. Restaurant very clean and view is breathtaking. Telling everyone we know. Taking my sister and brother-in-law August 17 2023 for lunch.“

“Used to go to Hall's regularly until they lost it. Recently tried Mike and Mels and were pleasantly surprised. Split pea soup is the real deal, chunks of ham and delicious flavor. So is the chicken noodle soup. Chunks of chicken, a hearty broth and great flavor. Liver and onions is done just right and tender. Have tried several burgers and they do a nice job on them. Good breakfast, but I am not a fan of their home fries. Reasonable prices and good service.“

“The crab cakes were VERY BAD. Aside from that; everything was delicious. Chris was our server and she gave awesome recommendations and switched out the crab cakes as soon as we voiced concern. We had the southwest chicken Mac & cheese, a warm pretzel and the buffalo cauliflower,(that last one per Chris’s recommendation), which were incredible. Also had the spicy margarita and the spiked Arnold Palmer. We sat on the back patio which overlooks a pond. It’s nice and tranquil. The inside seemed pretty festive and lots of people were seated at the bar“

“I had dinner friday for my birthday. The food here is amazing. My opinion best restaurant in dover. My waiter Kenny was great very nice and attentive to our table. This my 2nd time eating here both times were great. Everything on menu was really good. This is a place you have to try. Moved here a year ago from New York this is the only restaurant here i really enjoyed. I will be coming back to eat here again and recommending it to family and friends.“

But I will say that I've been eating at longhorn since my 20s the Salad i got had to be one of the biggest salads I've had in carryout from them. It was good, & they listened & didn't put my chicken on top which Wilts the lettuce & makes everything soggy. If, Im in Delaware again I would go back for sure“
