On our way home from Rehoboth Beach we stopped and found this gem of a Mexican restaurant. We googled Mexican restaurants and found this place. It's in a small strip mall. Small and nothing fancy, a bare bones type of place. This was the best Mexican food that we have had in a long time. The burritos were huge! All fresh and were excellent! I had the Fajita platter. It's was beyond good. Big portion of steak and shrimp with lots of fresh peppers and onions. It was seriously the best fajita I've ever had. We have family and hour from this restaurant and we will drive the hour to enjoy these meals again. Joe

Wonderful authentic Mexican! My #1 taco spot in the area! Tortas, burritos and fries are all outstanding too. Cannot express how good the food is!
I've been coming to Aurea's for quite a while. Its a great place for very good Mexican food and its reasonably priced. Most of the same servers/waitresses have been working there for years. They are all super friendly and the service is excellent. My favorites on the menu are chicken and asada tacos, pechuga empanizada A+ (breaded chicken), chicken gordita, enchiladas and I always get the guacamole which is made fresh. They do a great spicy shrimp soup too which is very good and it must be a regional type dish. They have great lunch specials as well. I highly recommend this place. I eat here quite a bit and honestly never had a bad experience. Nice decor and music as well. They have Mexican beers too. Great little hidden gem!!
