Used to be a loyal customer driving 10 miles at least once a week to pickup food, which is always good . I ordered yesterday through the app ( which they promote with signs in their store ) and they sneak in a $1.00 service fee now for using the app. Even if you are paying cash . I asked at the counter and they told me to call and order . While the counter person was telling me to call and order the phone was ringing off the hook and all that would happen is they would answer and tell the customer to hold and not ever pick the phone back up . So I have to pay for your app so you don’t have to have someone there to answer the phone . Please make it make sense .

Overpriced for so called large cheesesteaks and why don't you
mix the cheese into the meat so it doesn't crumble out? Amateur move. Stromboli way too salty, and pizza was undercooked. Disappointment second time in a row.

Claymont Steak Shop never disappoints! The cheesesteaks are packed with flavor and always made fresh, and the portions are huge for the price. The menu has something for everyone, but the steaks and subs are definitely the stars. Service is always quick and friendly, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. It’s easily one of the best spots around for a great meal. Highly recommend if you’re craving a real Philly-style cheesesteak!

The steak and bread be good. they fell off overtime I use to go every once in awhile last few times always remind why i stopped going there. they always seem to mess up my order give me nothing i ask for like they just give out random steaks smh

Their pizza toppings are generous and flavorful.

Order a small cheese steak ask for salt and pepper none on there! I called the lady said they don’t use it but I asked for it so there’s that and she was super smart over salt and pepper seems so simple! Salt and pepper! Basic American seasoning !
