Had brunch (bday)here today with my family. I got the cheese grits, fried fish, scrapple and toast. The food was amazing!!! There was the chicken sandwich, shrimp and grits, and the fried fish tower. The atmosphere is warm and cozy (grandma's kitchen) with southern decor. The staff were inviting and friendly. The portion sizes were huge. It is family styled dining and it's more than enough to share(party of 6). My family absolutely loved it here. We will definitely be back!!!

Butch and Dee are excellent chefs! Great breakfast, warm and friendly atmosphere. Make a reservation ahead of time (see website for texting instructions to make a reservation), you place your order at the counter with Butch, and then you bus your own tables after you’re done per the easy to follow signs. Super well organized business model. We’ll definitely be back!

I loved everything about this place! The food itself, the portion sizes, the sweet tea is immaculate! The owners are very welcoming and the intimate setting makes it feel like a home away from home.

I have waited for about 1 year to have the opportunity to go to this restaurant and last Sunday we were finally able to make it.
It is a very cozy place. Beautiful ambiance. We weren't aware that we needed to make a reservation to be able to sit and eat. The gentleman that was working was able to get us a table. I noticed that there was a large table reserved for a party of 6 that did not seem to show up. Anyway, the atmosphere was nice. We ordered our food, Chicken biscuit sandwich and chicken and waffle. We had to wait about 40 min for our food but we expected that since everything was cooked to order. When we got our food it had nice portions. My husband got the chicken & biscuit which was a nice size. Large portion. My food wasn't ready yet so I ate some of his. The chicken was tasty. When I received my plate I was surprised to see that I had a large waffle with chicken wings on top. I was expecting chicken fingers. I was later told that they had run out of chicken fingers. I wish I knew before they substituted with wings. I had been eating wings all week and was looking forward to the fingers. Anyway I began eating and found that the wings were under cooked and the waffle was wet and doughy in the middle. I think maybe the batter was too thick. I was very disappointed and ended up throwing the waffle away and took the wings home to cook a little longer. I was very disappointed in the food and I don't know if I will go back anytime soon. I do hope that if and when I go back that I can give a better review. I would really like to support this establishment. I still recommend you check it out. Maybe I was just there on an off day. The two workers in the kitchen seemed to have a disagreement about something so maybe there was a little tension between the two.

Open Sundays and first Fridays. Food is excellent. We used them to cater a family event and we were not disappointed.

For a soulful solace and real escape, this is a hearty brunch that can’t be beat! Delicious, real food, served generously, and with plenty of smiles and delight in the customers presence. A must return on Sundays or Friday fish suppers- be sure to reserve your mealtime!!

Umm lord!!! It was super good. But you will pay for it! The menu is more a la carte. Home fries were well seasoned. Everything is HOMEMADE. The whiting fish fried and seasoned perfectly. Enough for three people. I was full most of the day. Didn't leave bloated at all. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Make reservations during the week. It's like being at your grandma's house. U get your own utensils and condiments so its just like home. So comfortable. The husband wife very nice. You eat from real plates like antique mixed match but personal care. Awesome. I'll be back but I'll save up!

Sunday’s cafe did not disappoint. This is honestly some of the best food I’ve had in Delaware. I’m not exaggerating. We made a reservation at Sunday’s cafe for my MIL’s birthday. When we arrived our table was nicely placed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling juice and a nice birthday note. We ordered the whiting, the omelet, the potatoes, the biscuits, and the shrimp, crab, grits with a creole sauce. Everything was a 10/10! Very nice portions. We had a lot of food left over and it heated up well. I’m so glad we were able to support this cafe, we will be back soon! The service, the atmosphere and food was amazing! Thank you to Sunday’s cafe. My MIL enjoyed her birthday.

Today, we visited Sunday's Cafe 64 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were BLOWN away!

From the beautiful, comfortable, thoughtful, welcoming environment to the wonderful hospitality shown by the owners and kind patrons we met , we were impressed.

And the FOOD?🔥

The food was absolutely delicious and clearly cooked with LOVE.

The portions were huge!

The restaurant was booked, but they not only squeezed us in, but they were prepared to celebrate and welcome us.

If you are EVER in the Delaware City area and want good food with good energy behind it, you MUST visit. You will NOT be disappointed.

Oh, and they have a food ministry for seniors. They are doing the Lord's work❤️

I give them 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were referred to this charming family-style kitchen by our cousins. Appropriate, because it felt like we were with family dining on Sunday Breakfast! TIP: Portions are Big Mama Size so wear your super stretchy pants and plan to share and/or take a few leftovers home.
We ordered the abundant fried fish, bowl of home fries that served all 4 of us and Honey-glazed Chicken Strips and Waffle, and a huge biscuit swimming in sausage and bacon gravy. Meals are at home style -- order and pay at the counter and get your own beverage. They bring your food to the table. You scrape your own decorative dishes and place in a bin when you're ready to roll out the door! Prices are very reasonable based on the amount of food you get. Service is like being at your cousin's house and the atmosphere reminds you of after-church at Big Mama's House! Desserts looked great, but nobody had room! Part of the restaurant's proceeds go to feeding seniors (or others) in need of a meal! TIP: If you go as a group of 3 or more order different things and share. There will be plenty to go around!
