“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. We can't wait to order again!”

“From the moment we stepped inside the cute shop, we were welcomed by friendly staff who emailed me their huge list of offerings! I ended up getting a banana nut cake with peanut butter filling and whipped cream cheese icing and the cake is DELICIOUS! When I went to pick up, staff was warm and friendly and welcoming and made me feel like family. We will be coming back for sure!”

“Great homemade food. Crab cakes were exceptional. No filler. Service was great. Made you feel like you were welcomed. I recommend.”

“Perfect stop on a hot day—especially after eating at Crabby Dick’s (Dolly Spanker’s) next door. Plenty of flavors and options to choose from, and it’s exactly what you want from a solid ice cream place. Simple, reliable, and hits the spot.”

“This place is amazing, from the subs to the pastas to the great pizza. As if the food being amazing isn’t good enough the staff is friendly and remembers your name. Honestly, great quality and portions for your money.”

“Evelyn was very pleasant and got everything we needed. Would recommend bertcci’s and our lovely server to everyone! 5 stars”

“Ole Tapas has come to our event for two years in a row and they are definitely a favorite. The food is always prepared to perfection and the staff is always so kind and professional. I personally always recommend the street tacos. We are so grateful for the hard workers over at Ole Tapas.”

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. If you are in the Newark area and would like some tasty and quick diner food, go there & ask for Alicia <3 Thanks Alicia will be there again real soon !”

“Yummy. Breakfast so good,”

“sandwiches are so good! I haven't gotten the pho YET! but i have only heard great things. Van is so friendly! She appreciates her costumers, and she will make sure you know it. This is a small business that takes pride in what they serve, and you can tell by the taste and hospitality.”

“First and foremost the service is very good. The workers are very kind and will correctly put your order in to your liking. I often come here with my boyfriend. We both love the fries, he usually gets the burger combo. Every time he gets a burger they do it right he doesn't like anything on his Burger some cheese so they always put in his order correctly. We went there today and the food was absolutely delicious. We always sit and enjoy our food inside the building. Today the mac and cheese was so damn good. Also I always love the rice as well I usually get a number 23 and that's the whiting with rice, very delicious and fresh today. Highly recommend this place and location.”

“Dana was amazing! I love how he asked for our story on how we met! He made the experience so personal and genuine! The deserts were delicious! We are very pleased and he made the experience so easy!

His assistant was welcoming, and gave us time to taste privately before Dana consulted with us!

We are so excited!

Thank you,

Julianna & Demetrius”

“It's the perfect place to forget your troubles (kids) and obligations (child support) and just relax with an unwitting tinder date.”

“I went here for the first time tonight. It’s very cozy. The beer is good and the staff is awesome 🥰”

“My wife and I went for the first time while visiting from Ohio. We loved the atmosphere and the food. The beer selection is spectacular. I cannot recommend the lingonberry ice cream enough, that stuff is amazing.”

“We've been coming here since they opened and have never had anything we didn't like. Best lo mein, dumplings, iced tea, and ramen around!”

“I would like to recognize three staff members who went above and beyond this morning: Hanaan, Aryn, and Joella. I had a lunch meeting scheduled for 12:00 p.m. for 15 people, but due to an internet issue at my location, I was unable to place my order online. When I arrived, Aryn immediately asked Hanaan and Joella to assist before the lunch rush began. Before I knew it, they had my entire order prepared, bagged, and ready to go in no time. Their teamwork, efficiency, and willingness to help made a potentially stressful situation completely seamless. They displayed outstanding customer service and professionalism, and I truly appreciate their efforts. Thank you again, Hanaan, Aryn, and Joella, for going above and beyond!”

“The food , staff and atmosphere at Mary's are wonderful. It's like eating in a friend's kitchen, where the food is homemade, and the staff treats you like friends. Highly recommend. They treated my 92 year old father like he was their own.”

“Excellent service, food, experience. I was recently there with a group of nine, including an infant and two toddlers. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. We all loved the robots! The food, though, was the star. We ordered many dishes to share, and every one was terrific. Highly recommend!”

“Where do I begin? I just stumbled upon this place. This place is the perfect cigar lounge that I have ever been to. Their cigar selection is vast, from major brands to even boutique cigars. Even with the mandatory 2-cigars minimum, if you are not a member, there was no pressure to buy a cigar. The prices are fair and not astronomical. The atmosphere and patrons who were there were chill. It’s a vibe. This is the place if you want to chill, enjoy a beverage, smoke, and watch the game. I will be back again.”

“A nice, quick option for vegetarians with several vegan options which are clearly marked. Order at the bar or through a QR code. Updated from previous review on 2026-09-13”
