“On a recent visit to see Fort Delaware State Park, I stopped at the Ice Cream Parlor for a nice afternoon ice cream break and I sure am glad I did. They have a great variety of ice cream and the employee was very courteous. I'm sure glad I went there and would go there again next time I am there.”

“When my company arrived from Kansas and Indiana in April, I took them to Crabby Dick's in Delaware City and they absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed the crab cakes and Maryland Crab soup. I got my usual favorite, steamed clams! Our server's name was either Mattie or Maddie. Not sure of the spelling, but she was outstanding. We were there on April 22nd.”

Their brisket cheese fries were out of this world, the cheese sauce was so flavorful! & their collard greens are perfectly made! The cornbread is sweet and moist! “Been coming to this place ever since they’ve opened up. They have the best banh mi I’ve had since I moved closer to Delaware. If you love some good cracking pork in your banh mi. You should look into the fire cracker banh mi cause it’s amazing. My experience with the staff has always been amazing since they’re all are so kind and friendly.”

“My son took me to this spot yesterday and I was so impressed. I’m not a big coffee drinker but the ice coffee my son recommended was nice. I am a big sweet eater and the apple muffin was very good not too sweet like my usual but still very good and crunchy. The Mercury is Small but clean and airy. Service on point and the atmosphere delightful. Had to share with my manager who lives in the neighborhood she must check it out. Very nice place. Love the entrance and the out area so surprised of the size and set up excellent…

“The food and service here are excellent! We visited twice before catching a movie at Cinemark. The chicken katsu bun and toasted eel bun were both delicious. We also tried their sushi roll, which was fantastic. Highly recommend!

“Best BBQ we've eaten in years. Ribs were moist, marinated, and seasoned to perfection. Chicken was amazing. Kids couldn't get enough of the corn bread and pineapple ice tea. I can't speak highly enough about this shop and the great service. Owners have been cooking the recipes for generations. Its open on the weekends. If you've never traveled to Port Penn, DE your missing out. Its only 30 minutes south of Wilmington. Great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of WilmingtonNewark. And thanks again for the great service! Can't wait to swing by again next week ;). We still have to try the desserts, which i'm sure will be amazing. P.S. They 100% make an in-house bbq sauce that will knock your socks off! : ).”
