“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”

“Just made our first visit to Scalessa's. Been wanting to try it for a while and it didn't disappoint! Such a great little spot! The food was amazing, portions were large, prices were reasonable, and they even had vegetarian options (like eggplant "meatballs"). The service was also absolutely terrific. The entire staff was attentive and accommodating. They clearly take pride in their restaurant and care about the customer experience, which is definitely nowhere near a given in my experience dining out around here. “The wife and I were on our way to the Silver Springs, MD, from dirty Jerz to visit the outlaws???lol. When we decided to make a stop for breakfast. A quick Google search turned up the metro diner. So off we went. It's a cute place that seems to get pretty busy. The wife ordered the veggies omelet, I ordered the chicken and grits, and two pieces of fried chicken, which I totally enjoyed. My wife also enjoyed what I ordered. This was obvious by the way she pinched off my plate. Also, Joe, the owner, stopped by every table to introduce himself and to see how things were going with the food and service. I felt this was a very nice touch.”

I decided to try Tonkotsu & Karaage chicken.When I got back to the office I was impressed with the packaging. Secure (broth you know!) and my ramen items were packed separately from the broth. Very nice - nothing was "water logged" from swimming in the broth on the drive back.Ramen was very tasty & I enjoyed the large portion and crunch of the Karaage chicken. “Super cute and chic coffee shop! The coffee is great quality and they have many options. They also serve pastries, food items and different types of art. The owners were onsite, super hospitable, and attentive. The decor made you feel at home and they proudly display artwork from various artists on the walls. It’s really nice inside. I connected to the WiFi and got some work done as I enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The space is small but there isn’t a shortage of seating and there is still enough personal space to feel comfortable. I will definitely return.”
