I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! My guests raved about the high quality Italian ingredients and the homemade flavors of everything that we served.”

We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!”

I wonder if the owners are aware of these actions because honestly the bartender and manager should be fired for those kind of attitudes as it's illegal to serve visibly impaired patrons at a bar! Sad! 🤔😔 I actually have to add, it's a shame that the staff isn't the best, because the concept is great, the events are fun and our group which usually numbers 10 to 15 people enjoy hanging out there for the events and the food which is reasonable and pretty good! 💝😎👍”

“My son and I tried Sangam today for lunch. Our first visit here was great! The dining room was very clean and ready for patrons. The lighting was bright and welcoming. They have only been open for a couple days so it was kind of a limited lunch menu. We ordered a veg and non-veg Thali. These come out as several small bowls on a platter surrounding a bowl of rice. It is also served with roti and papadam. We enjoyed this because we were able to try several different items. We are a family that enjoys Indian food quite often. The flavors were so good and fresh. The spice level was good for us. We like spicy but it wasn’t the type of spicy that killed your taste buds. You still wanted to go back for another bite. My son had fountain soda and I enjoyed their mango lassi. The prices are reasonable. The service was also good, we felt taken care of. We will be going back for dinner soon to try some of our Indian cuisine favorites. I really hope the community supports them!”

The Gravy had a very good flavor but the meat itself i didn't think was that good. The mashed potatoes were nicely prepared and the asparagus was hot but still had a snap to them, which is just the way I like it. Add a nice bourbon to it all and it makes for a good meal. Cozy atmosphere to the place. Definitely worth checking out.”

This location looks great from the nice building, to the inside of McDonald's with the Halo Round Booth as soon as you walk through the 2nd main door. The Halo light is one of a kind at this McDonald's location. I wish I've gotten a picture of the round booth. Keep up the good work on the cleanliness of the store 👍-The food came out Nice and Hot. “I just had an absolutely wonderful meal at a tiny Thai restaurant across from the VA Hospital at 1700 Kirkwood Highway, called Wings and Thai Station. They are open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and from 12:00 to 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday. They are closed on Monday. They have a small eat in capacity (I would guess 40 seats) but they do take reservations. Mostly they are takeout or catering. For a party of over 70 people they will send their food truck and cook anything on the menu for your guests. They are very inexpensive. I had 8 large crunchy shrimp over a delicious small salad with the most amazing sauce, ($22.) and I brought 3 shrimp home. We had a wonderful appetizer that they made for us, that was 2 rolled cylinders and 2 little dumplings with a sauce that was amazing. Maybe you would enjoy this little jewel.”

“I tried the mozzarella as an appetizer and the Tenderloin for the meal. The mozzarella was very good. Between the peppers and topping that was a great was to start out. The Tenderloin was ok. The Gravy had a very good flavor but the meat itself i didn't think was that good. The mashed potatoes were nicely prepared and the asparagus was hot but still had a snap to them, which is just the way I like it. Add a nice bourbon to it all and it makes for a good meal. Cozy atmosphere to the place. Definitely worth checking out.”

I got Fettuccine Alfredo with a big dinner roll and a side salad for $14.99. 1st off, the weight of the pasta was HEAVY. I couldn't believe how much food I got for $14.99. You can't get this anywhere. I will have leftovers for tomorrow and maybe the next day, And being Italian, I'm always skeptical.. but guess what,this was outstanding. I am so beyond pleased. So many places just cover up mushy vegetables and old rice with sugar-heavy sauce because it's what we Americans expect, but this restaurant seems to actually care about putting out quality. “This past June 2026, my husband and I had a private event in the Parlor Room of Catherine Rooney’s and we could not be happier with how it turned out! The Parlor Room itself is a great space, cozy but still spacious at the same time. We comfortably fit a crowd of about 40 people without issue. We ordered the hummus platter, chicken tenders, nachos, cheeseburger sliders, and pulled pork minis. The food was delicious and it was more than enough to feed 40 people. We had 2 servers, Emilia and Joey, who were so incredibly attentive and professional. In terms of planning and organizing, we worked with Katie and Kristen who were phenomenal. The price for the event was more than fair, and far more reasonable than other restaurants within trolley square (i.e. Oyster House). Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely hold future events at Rooney’s!”

I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. They have only been open for a couple days so it was kind of a limited lunch menu. We ordered a veg and non-veg Thali. These come out as several small bowls on a platter surrounding a bowl of rice. It is also served with roti and papadam. We enjoyed this because we were able to try several different items. We are a family that enjoys Indian food quite often. The flavors were so good and fresh. The spice level was good for us. We like spicy but it wasn’t the type of spicy that killed your taste buds. You still wanted to go back for another bite. My son had fountain soda and I enjoyed their mango lassi. The prices are reasonable. The service was also good, we felt taken care of. We will be going back for dinner soon to try some of our Indian cuisine favorites. I really hope the community supports them!”
