“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!”

I was able to get in at 3:30 but starting to fill up as I was leaving around 5pm on a Tuesday!... Definitely make a reservation for dinner! Some outdoor seating with heaters but also saw lap blankets.”

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍”

“The bartenders there serve people that are obviously visibly drunk and falling off their stools! When I brought it up to the bartender, she said I misread the situation and it was none of my business! So, I went to the manager and she repeated pretty much the same statement like it was scripted because it continuously happens! I wonder if the owners are aware of these actions because honestly the bartender and manager should be fired for those kind of attitudes as it's illegal to serve visibly impaired patrons at a bar! Sad! 🤔😔 I actually have to add, it's a shame that the staff isn't the best, because the concept is great, the events are fun and our group which usually numbers 10 to 15 people enjoy hanging out there for the events and the food which is reasonable and pretty good! 💝😎👍”

“Everything about this place is perfect, esp. the food, we got the short rib, if it's on the menu I always order it, this has to be one of the best I've had. It was an Asian style, with chopped bok Choy, the meat fell apart, so tender. The asparagus and little gem salad was shared, and also perfect, I give them 10 for food. Service was impeccable as well. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!”

“I tried the mozzarella as an appetizer and the Tenderloin for the meal. The mozzarella was very good. Between the peppers and topping that was a great was to start out. The Tenderloin was ok. The Gravy had a very good flavor but the meat itself i didn't think was that good. The mashed potatoes were nicely prepared and the asparagus was hot but still had a snap to them, which is just the way I like it. Add a nice bourbon to it all and it makes for a good meal. Cozy atmosphere to the place. Definitely worth checking out.”

“This McDonald's location on Concord Pike has great staff members that are very attentive to their customers waiting at the front counter. This location looks great from the nice building, to the inside of McDonald's with the Halo Round Booth as soon as you walk through the 2nd main door. The Halo light is one of a kind at this McDonald's location. I wish I've gotten a picture of the round booth. Keep up the good work on the cleanliness of the store 👍-The food came out Nice and Hot. I've a good experience.”

“My boyfriend and I had dinner there recently and it was excellent. I had the Mediterranean shrimp appetizer, the calamari, which we shared and my boyfriend had the chicken salad BLT sandwich. We enjoyed our meal so much. They were busy but the service was very good.

Once again my boyfriend and I went to dinner last night. My boyfriend had his usual, the chicken BLT sandwich and I had the crispy peruvian shrimp tacos. We were happy with our meal and outstanding waiter.”

“I just had an absolutely wonderful meal at a tiny Thai restaurant across from the VA Hospital at 1700 Kirkwood Highway, called Wings and Thai Station. They are open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and from 12:00 to 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday. They are closed on Monday. They have a small eat in capacity (I would guess 40 seats) but they do take reservations. Mostly they are takeout or catering. For a party of over 70 people they will send their food truck and cook anything on the menu for your guests. They are very inexpensive. I had 8 large crunchy shrimp over a delicious small salad with the most amazing sauce, ($22.) and I brought 3 shrimp home. We had a wonderful appetizer that they made for us, that was 2 rolled cylinders and 2 little dumplings with a sauce that was amazing. Maybe you would enjoy this little jewel.”

“We held a celebration of life for my husband this past weekend. Joe was great to work with. The venue was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had more people attend than planned. They were able to keep up with the demand for more food.. Shout outs to Tyler, Denise and Amy whose service was impeccable. “This was my first time ordering/eating from this restaurant. A security guard from my job who lives in lower Delaware kept saying he wanted to try the food so I decided to surprise him and buy him a platter and I also got a platter for myself and planned on taking it to lunch the following day. The smell of the food on the drive home made me want to open up the platter at the red light ( but I resisted the urge) . So of course I had to taste it before putting in the fridge and it tasted as good as it smelled. I was eating and dancing 💃🏿 the food was sooo good and flavorful and the customer service was great as well. Long story short this was my first time but definitely won't be my last !!”

“We just had a bridal shower there in May 2025. We picked Chelsea Tavern because it was in a central location for our 2 families to come together and celebrate. All I can say is that everything was fantastic! The service, the room, the attention to detail was perfect! The food was phenomenal! The portions were huge and tasted terrific! Madelyn was a wonderful hostess and Rob the best bartender and pancake bar chef! We couldn’t ask for a better day. Picking Chelsea Tavern was the best decision and the bride to be was so happy and said everything was exactly as she had imagined. Thank you to everyone involved, it was the most special day 🌸💗🌸”

Came in around 3:30pm and there was a bit of a wait but the way the manager handed the rush was very impressive. my family had stop coming to this location because of the horrible service each time but this visit was great. Food was hot , my server jasmine was so nice and friendly and both the managers visited our table and I seen them at others. They have only been open for a couple days so it was kind of a limited lunch menu. We ordered a veg and non-veg Thali. These come out as several small bowls on a platter surrounding a bowl of rice. It is also served with roti and papadam. We enjoyed this because we were able to try several different items. We are a family that enjoys Indian food quite often. The flavors were so good and fresh. The spice level was good for us. We like spicy but it wasn’t the type of spicy that killed your taste buds. You still wanted to go back for another bite. My son had fountain soda and I enjoyed their mango lassi. The prices are reasonable. The service was also good, we felt taken care of. We will be going back for dinner soon to try some of our Indian cuisine favorites. I really hope the community supports them!”

I added a pump of hazelnut and it was honestly one of the best lattes I’ve ever had… rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with a deep caramel flavor that wasn’t overly sweet or artificial. The hazelnut made it even better and gave it that cozy, dessert-like flavor without being too much. You can tell they really care about the quality of their coffee and how they craft their drinks.
