They make their own latte flavors (no big containers of syrups with artificial flavoring), have scratch-made pastries that change daily, and delicious breakfast sandwiches (and lunch sandwiches too!).This place is also super kid-friendly. They have a bookshelf with kids books, coloring books and crayons, and a few simple toys.Sleeping Bird is our favorite place!“
“Delicious and beautiful food, charmingly presented with attention to detail. Fresh, but not trendy versions of classic afternoon tea fare, for example an open-faced Caprese sandwich with a thin layer of a lively red pepper jam. The food was delicate in appearance but added up to a hearty meal. Totally delightful, and I have often been disappointed with afternoon teas. I love them when they are done right, and this one was perfect. Can’t wait to go again!“
“Went for lunch with my son. We ate on the patio. It was cozy, quaint. Beautiful weather made it even more enjoyable. The food options were great; different from the same old same old. The waitress was busy but brought our drinks and food in a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Absolutely some of the best tasting and closest to homemade Italian food I’ve had yet. Absolutely perfect to dine in or order out, my old Italian Nonna loves to order from here when she doesn’t feel like cooking. Love this place so much, the interior and atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better. I always get the ravioli and it’s delicious every time. Parking isn’t ideal, then again that is not the restaurant’s fault. Wish I could go here more often, definitely a favorite spot.“
“Farmer and the Cow is a little out of the way down Market Street compared to the other downtown eateries, but it's worth the walk. And besides, "out of the way" in Wilmington means an extra block.If you like whiskey, whisky, scotch, bourbon, or other spirits, then this place has your back. I'm slowly getting into trying more and more of these and this bar is among the best stocked I've visited, especially in the area.I have to mention in particular, for all you greater-Chicago transplants new to the area, there is Malort here. Love it or hate it, this is easily the furthest from Chicago I've been able to find Malort on a menu. And they'll give it to you in an honest-to-god, cheap as hell "Citywide Special" (beer and a bump, boilermaker, whatever you want to call it) with that blue-ribbon winning beer too.Food's also great. I like the rotating menu; I appreciate that they'll put malt powder in any shake; they've been on DDD, if you're a Guy Fieri fan; and they also cook burgers to order preference.A true gem in Wilmington.“

“Enjoyed an amazing salad. I had the Savannah Noodle. They were really great when I asked to sub the whole wheat noodles for quinoa. The salad was fresh, crisp, and the chicken was juice, tender, and flavorful. Added a diet coke. Took my meal outside, to sit at a table that was in the shade at 1pm.My friend had the panini and was very happy with his sandwich.“
“Tried out the gluten free pizza crust tonight. I think it may even be the same crust that seasons uses ?I would suggest asking for the cheese and sauce as close to the edge as possible. In hindsight I would probably request extra sauce too. For me it would taste a bit better with less “crust” unless you have a dipping sauce ?Service was great (thank you Julie!!) and I enjoyed my entire experience.“
“Solid pizza. I'd never had "Detroit Pizza". Kinda like a tomato pie with a crunchy crust. Tried both the "traditional" margherita pizza and the Detroit Upsidedown. They were both great. I'd order again and try other options. We ordered to go. It was ready on time. Solid service. Hardest part is finding easy parking to stop and run in in the area.“

My Daughter and I were traveling to a Doctors appointment and not from the area. After the Best Lunch we got in the car to head home. We had 2 hours on the road. “My daughter and I stopped by this restaurant it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. I ordered the Philly slider and one of the chicken sliders and everything was delicious. My daughter ordered two of the chicken slider’s. The food and the service was good we will definitely return to this restaurant ?“
