“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“I Was in town for a Private Event, it was held at Keem's, Christian was manager that evening. My husband and I had a wonderful time, EVERYTHING was amazing, we have been talking about the food all the way back to Virginia! Thank you to the Entire Staff for all your efforts! “My experience on Concord Pike was wonderful. If I ever need help with the Kiosk they immediately help. Wish the boxes for food were a little larger but I always enjoy my food. I wanted to leave a tip but wanted to leave it in cash but was too cash is not accepted. Next time I will add to my bill. Thanks for the heads up and I am sure my food will be great as always. Kudos to you guys!“

“This restaurant was perfect! The pot roast was amazing and perfectly tender. Everything- including the atmosphere, food, staff, etc was AMAZING across the board. In particular, our host, named Gabbi was so sweet and patient with us when we wanted to switch our seating area from outside to the dining room. It is best to order ahead so when you get to the the restaurant it is ready. This is authentic Puerto Rican food and takes a little time. They get busy fast because of the deliciousness and soul this local owned business brings to the community.

The bread is great and the sauce was really flavorful. The arrancini balls were good.
The pasta was a bit dense and the gnocchi had a slightly weird taste to it.
The carpet makes the restaurant feel very mildewey and has a smell to it.“

“The food is amazing. I normally order for a business meeting or myself at times, and it is really good. The quality of the food is great, and there's a lot of food, which is a plus. We love it. I can not rate on the atmosphere or in-person service because we have not been in person, but overall, this is a 5-star experience for our business.“

“Since we were getting down to Delaware later than planned, I looked up a couple of places that had some seafood options (apps and entrees) and ended up on this place. It doesn't seem like it from the outside but the place is pretty spacious inside, with one side filled with dining room tables/booths facing a stage and the other side with wrap around bar and hightops. Place had a good amount of people in there and a cover band was playing some rock hits while we were there + they were pretty decent lol.
Staff were good - our waitress/bartender was very friendly, helpful (she suggested the wing sauce) and pm just attentive enough. We ended up ordered a round of drinks - the Hennything For Shore - and shared a few apps: Creamy Crab Dip, bone in Wings in sweet Thai chili sauce and Fried Shrimp. Everything was pretty good, especially the wings - they were fried nice with a good crisp but not overcooked so the meat was still tender in the inside.

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“
