“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. “Came here for me and my wife wedding anniversary. They are phenomenal! The waitress was attentive to our needs. The food was just spectacular. I would say parking is a issue, but there is a garage on the opposite side of the street. I would highly recommend coming here if you wish to have good prepared by professional cooks and a adult atmosphere“

“My boyfriend and I had dinner there recently and it was excellent. I had the Mediterranean shrimp appetizer, the calamari, which we shared and my boyfriend had the chicken salad BLT sandwich. We enjoyed our meal so much. They were busy but the service was very good.

Once again my boyfriend and I went to dinner last night. My boyfriend had his usual, the chicken BLT sandwich and I had the crispy peruvian shrimp tacos. We were happy with our meal and outstanding waiter.“

“The food , staff and atmosphere at Mary's are wonderful. It's like eating in a friend's kitchen, where the food is homemade, and the staff treats you like friends. Highly recommend. They treated my 92 year old father like he was their own.“

“It was nice to have dinner inside a restaurant. You could see the care of clean up, the guests were spaced nicely. Our meals were fresh, full of flavor, and enough for a lunch the following day. Our server Pat was her ever charming self and mixes a great basil lemon cocktail.“

“This was my first time ordering/eating from this restaurant. A security guard from my job who lives in lower Delaware kept saying he wanted to try the food so I decided to surprise him and buy him a platter and I also got a platter for myself and planned on taking it to lunch the following day. The smell of the food on the drive home made me want to open up the platter at the red light ( but I resisted the urge) . So of course I had to taste it before putting in the fridge and it tasted as good as it smelled. I was eating and dancing 💃🏿 the food was sooo good and flavorful and the customer service was great as well. Long story short this was my first time but definitely won't be my last !!“
