“My wife and I lost our Chinese takeout restaurant which recently closed so we were forced to find a new place. We recently ordered our food from New Dragon. I waited until I ordered food at least five or six times before leaving this review. I can say that New Dragon has very good food, it's consistent in appearance and taste, and each time we got it, the portions were very generous. We order the pepper steak, chicken & broccoli, spare ribs, Wonton soup, steamed dumplings, roast pork fried rice, and roast pork lo mein , and all the dishes were very good. Their spare ribs are excellent quality with more meat and little fat and they're covered in a delicious sauce. The people who serve you are very nice and you can see into the kitchen where the food is prepared and we found the kitchen to pretty neat and clean. I can recommend New Dragon.“

If not, you absolutely need to go! We stopped by on Valentine’s Day morning and had the BEST experience. They even had everything decorated for the occasion, which made it feel extra special.

Krystal took such amazing care of us — truly top-notch service! The food was incredible, and the portion sizes were insane (come hungry!).

“I was a local regular for a long time. Out of the area a lot now but stop in when I’m in town. Everything about this location is as expected except for one thing, THE STAFF! They are what truly makes this a gem in Hockessin. Not only are they courtesy, friendly, and efficient. They all around strive to make your experience better. It’s nice to see a Team take pride in what they do.“

“The food was pretty good, this would be a nice spot for a date or a weekday lunch. The weekend crowd can be busy and table space is very limited.
Don't come looking for a quick bite. If volume is high, it can take an hour to get your order.
The space has lots of charm and is definitely worth checking out for some great Vegetarian food.“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. As much as I loved the little store, I appreciate the extra space they put in for dining now. I hope it continues to do well. So happy there is a fine dining option locally for vegan fare.“

1 piece of kofta shouldn’t cost nearly $8.. The lamb chops were a bit bland as well but cost almost $30 for a platter.
the prices should be half of what they are

Our first time at Kid Shelleen's. It was much bigger than it appears at first. We had our two granddaughters with us, one is very vocal and not great at getting food into her mouth. We were conveniently tucked into the back corner where we didn't bother any other patrons, thanks to the wonderful staff. So thankful for their kindness and attention.“

A security guard from my job who lives in lower Delaware kept saying he wanted to try the food so I decided to surprise him and buy him a platter and I also got a platter for myself and planned on taking it to lunch the following day. The smell of the food on the drive home made me want to open up the platter at the red light ( but I resisted the urge) . So of course I had to taste it before putting in the fridge and it tasted as good as it smelled. I was eating and dancing 💃🏿 the food was sooo good and flavorful and the customer service was great as well. Long story short this was my first time but definitely won't be my last !!“
