“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago and have been in love with their lamb gyro since. I recently needed food catered for my graduation party and immediately knew it has to be from here.

The food was amazing. We had chicken and lamb gyros for my party. Everyone loved it.

But what stands out the most is the owner. He has ALWAYS been a wonderful human to interact with. He is kind, caring, generous and all around amazing person. The food is out of this world but knowing my money is supporting his business is even better.

“Bit of a wait for a table. Eclectic crowd of townies and college students. It was good that only half our group showed up as we would never have gotten a table together. One of our group tapped a keg and had to switch to a lesser ale! Food was good and service was attentive given how busy it was. Definitely worth a return trip.“
