Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and level of service at this restaurant. Ordered a scallop dish and a pasta dish and were totally blown away! Will definitely go back next time we visit.

AMAZING FOOD. Pretty much everything was a hit. Presentation was lovely, produce was fresh, and meats cooked perfectly. 1906 at Longwood Gardens offers a perfect evening with exceptional service and delicious food. The newly reopened restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with lovely decor and a gorgeous view of the garden fountain area. The food remains high quality, featuring must-tries like the smoked beets and cheese plate, mushroom soup, and almond crusted tuna, which is beautiful but slightly dry. Lobster beignets, beet salad, crab cakes, and halibut are also delicious offerings. The drinks, including the Sazerac cocktails, are very tasty.
The restaurant is very accommodating, splitting entrees and providing excellent patio seating. The staff goes above and beyond, with professional and friendly service that ensures all needs are met. Their dedication to quality shines through even in the smallest details, like brewing the perfect iced tea. While lunch can be a little pricey, the innovative menu options and overall experience are well worth it, making a day spent with friends even more magical.
