“Went, for the first time, to eat here today. My friend & I both had the black bean burger. It definitely surpassed my expectations & was incredibly delicious. My friend got the sweet potato fries & was very pleased. We will definitely make it back here as we frequently go into Kennett Square. Thank you for a very pleasurable lunch. “Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“Was there on a Thursday evening food was great The waitress kassidy was the greatest so friendly and polite beautiful inside and out really appreciate being around such wonderful people. Definitely eat there and if your lucky you will get kassidy as a waitress ❤️“

“Tonight was our first night trying Portabello’s. We had an excellent dinner! My wife had the chicken parmigiana and I had the stroganoff. We shared the chocolate decadence cake for dessert. Had an excellent server named Erica. We will be back.“

“Local watering hole situated in a busy strip mall. Good place to meet friends for a drink and bite to eat. The beer was cold but didn’t eat anything.
The bar area is tight but a huge dining room with plenty of tables in the back.“

“The manager was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed but he offered us a few pizza options and we were more than grateful!! Pizza was delicious and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and really appreciate how customer friendly everyone was.“

“Staying in town for a couple of nights to visit Longwood Gardens, kinda dumbed into choosing Letty's seeking a diverse menu.
Honestly, we liked the many dishes that included mushrooms. We are big fans and when in mushroom country like this, you have to take advantage.
The craft beer selection is good, cocktail list looked very tempting and there is a decent wine selection. We enjoyed Tired Hands Crushable Church. A good hazy with under 5% ABV.
We started with the mushroom arancini, which were delicious. Came as a set of 3 small arancini, perfect for two people.
I enjoyed the mushroom pizza which is a flavorful combination of fontina cheese, mixed sautéed mushroom blend and sautéed sliced mushrooms. Crust was crispy and crunchy. Good combination. My wife enjoyed the mushroom Po Boy sandwich, also a good choice.
They do pass the 3% credit card fee onto the customer just so you are aware.
Overall it was a good choice and a delicious meal. When we return to the area, we will definitely make sure we eat here again.“

“Big shoutout to Giordano’s!! My husband and I had a small courthouse wedding and had about 15 people come to dinner afterwards in one of the private rooms. We were promptly greeted and the manager came in to greet us as well and gave my 2 year old nephew a giant cookie to keep him occupied while we got settled in. All of the staff was very helpful and attentive. They made sure to meet all of our needs and double check that there was no alcohol in one of the entrees sauces and even had it remade to make sure for us. The bartender came over and helped us wrap up our leftover cake so we could save it for our one year anniversary as well. All around a wonderful experience. I haven’t been since before renovations when I worked there and was impressed with all of the updates. It is more modern but still comfortable and the food is absolutely wonderful! As a large group, we ordered quite the variety of entree’s and they were all wonderful! Thank you Gios for a wonderful day my husband and I will never forget!“

“Dinner was excellent. Ordered lots on the menu and each was outstanding. The skate melted in your mouth. Tasted like chicken. Lamb carpaccio, pork steak, rainbow trout, ravioli, funghetti. Well worth it.“
