“Our Christmas party at the Kings Tavern tonight was first class. The service was wonderful; the food was delicious; and our waiter, Gary, was unbelievable!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.“

“Babes and I went here this past Friday for the Beef Wellington. They offer it as a special only on the fourth week of the month. Let’s just say it did not disappoint. Exactly what you would want it to be. Melt in your mouth, no real knife needed ?.
Also had the Brussels sprouts- fried hard. Yum. Crispy in every single layer with a nice kick of maple!
We sat out on the patio, our server was a joy. She had a great personality- wish I could remember her name to shout her out.
My only true complaint is the obnoxious table beside us that had no table manners. Belching left and right, cackling the whole time. Clearly they had too much fun and forgot about their surroundings. Patio was just not this kind of atmosphere. Had they been in the bar/at the bar it would have been more understandable.

Nonetheless, the Brussels sprouts and the Wellington is a must try! They also had one of babes favorite beer!“

“The hash browns are sort of like the McDonald's ones, which didn't bother me but just FYI. I don't even think they were on the menu. Eggs Benedict was good. Omelette was good. Service was great, so funny. Didn't take too long, even on a Sunday! Would definitely go again.“

“I do open mics here on Wednesday. I’ve only ordered drinks. The drink list is massive though. Something for everyone from double IPAs to Coors. The open mic night is a lot of fun for the musicians. “Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“Highly recommend! We celebrated our anniversary tonight and the service was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. The doors were opened for us and we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Brandon was fantastic. We tried all of his recommendations and were not disappointed. The crispy calamari, NY strip special, chicken piccata, and you have to leave room for the butterscotch cake AND the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, waters were refilled frequently, but we never felt rushed. This was our first time and we cannot wait to go back.“

“Truly great food. This place appears rather unassuming at first glance but I have tried 4 different menu items and every one of them has been spectacular. The burgers are the best, large, juicy, and excellently crafted. The sandwiches are unique and tasty, and the rice bowls are surprisingly hefty with a wonderful flavor. It is always clean and the waitresses have consistently been down to earth and friendly. The average item will be $15-19 which is typically a little pricier for me, and yet I am left wondering how food that good is so cheap every time.

The drinks follow the theme of excellence, they have $7 basic citrus vodka drinks that again are just well balanced and delicious. I’ve only tried a couple of the $12 cocktails but was surprised at how fancy I felt drinking them. now I am not a fancy fellow, but they were seriously good. They would easily be worth $18-$22 in West Chester.

In conclusion, this restaurant has great prices for the quality of food, a clean and friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, extremely thorough consistency in the quality of the items they present to the customer.“

“Perfect dive experience.chill bartender, no bad attitudes from thr locals. Indoor smoking but they got smoke eaters so it's not obnoxious. Karaoke night is dope, they just want you to participate, bad, good, everyone was supportive. I can't praise this place enough. “We love Letty's! I know for some their menu can appear to be unapproachable but we've loved everything we've had. I get the gem salad almost every time - the mix of flavors is unusual and outstanding. I think they have the best smash burger and their fries are the absolute best. My husband loves their pork schnitzel when they have it but gets the short rib when the schnitzel isn't available - they are both so good! Other things we enjoy include the cauliflower appetizer and the pizzas. Letty's is one of our go to spots!“
