“We have been customers of Bonu Cafe Express - Exton for several years, for sit in, take-out, as well as for family meals for holiday dinners... We've always been pleased with the friendly service, delicious food quality, and value... We recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter, and approached to owner about catering the event for 35 guests... We enjoyed a feast of humus, chicken kabob, beef tenderloin kabob, grilled fresh vegetables, and rice... The meal was ready to go as scheduled, we were provided with chafing dishes and sterno to keep the meal warm, and enjoyed a great dining experience... Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal... “This place is awesome in every way. Great food, great beer, and a phenomenal environment. But what really makes this place top notch is the service. My wife and I and our three young kids have been in multiple times and every single time, staff goes out of their way to make us and our kids feel beyond welcome, which is not the case at many other establishments. “Our favorite night out. This location in Exton never disappoints! Great food severed hot and fresh. I know no one comes here for the house salad but this place always has the best salad of any other steakhouse! Steaks done to order! Chicken Perfection! Warm bread and butter to start. Great atmosphere and friendly fast servers! Why eat anywhere else and pay more???“

The negatives were the waitress was pretty brusk and overall, not very friendly. Also, when asked about a kids menu for my son, and was told there wasn't really much of one, but then it appears there was one on their website with lots of items. That said items were dropped off by staff efficiently.
Food was ok, the buffalo shrimp were maybe the smallest I ever saw served at a restaurant. Flatbread was great!“

“I have never been in a Honey Baked Ham before, but I got a gift card for Christmas. The staff (Two teens and an older gentleman) were very helpful and patient explaining the menu to me. My hunch is this is a family run franchise. I grabbed two turkey breasts, one roasted and one smoked for $90 total. So far my family has tried the smoked turkey. The staff said it would tastes very similar to honey smoked ham and they were right. It was very delicious. If I didn’t eat pork the smoked turkey would be a great alternative. The trip from Lancaster was worth it and will definitely be back.“
