We've always been pleased with the friendly service, delicious food quality, and value... We recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter, and approached to owner about catering the event for 35 guests... We enjoyed a feast of humus, chicken kabob, beef tenderloin kabob, grilled fresh vegetables, and rice... The meal was ready to go as scheduled, we were provided with chafing dishes and sterno to keep the meal warm, and enjoyed a great dining experience... Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal... “Common bar food, but with nice twists in ingredients. I got the pulled pork with white Alabama sauce. BIG sandwich! Don’t order unless hungry. Same for the burgers. Fries are skin on fresh made. Good but all three of us said it was salty — they use rock salt; classy but I’m a bit sensitive to salt. The Root Down NEIPA was light with fruity scent. Very good! 13 beers on tap. A little noisy; small place. Nearly all food made fresh on premises, and it shows.“

We chose to do the wine pairing which was perfect! They had a good variety of wines from all over the world. But the service has been so slow both times I’ve been here. They did comp his meal. Just expect to wait a while and enjoy your drinks. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry.“

Its modest size and acoustic design keeps the noise level to a pleasant buzz, avoiding a too common problem for those who actually want to have an enjoyable conversation without raising their voices. Perhaps for this reason, the clientele seems to trend older.
