We've always been pleased with the friendly service, delicious food quality, and value... We recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter, and approached to owner about catering the event for 35 guests... We enjoyed a feast of humus, chicken kabob, beef tenderloin kabob, grilled fresh vegetables, and rice... The meal was ready to go as scheduled, we were provided with chafing dishes and sterno to keep the meal warm, and enjoyed a great dining experience... Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal... “Common bar food, but with nice twists in ingredients. I got the pulled pork with white Alabama sauce. BIG sandwich! Don’t order unless hungry. Same for the burgers. Fries are skin on fresh made. Good but all three of us said it was salty — they use rock salt; classy but I’m a bit sensitive to salt. The Root Down NEIPA was light with fruity scent. Very good! 13 beers on tap. A little noisy; small place. Nearly all food made fresh on premises, and it shows.“

We chose to do the wine pairing which was perfect! They had a good variety of wines from all over the world. Its modest size and acoustic design keeps the noise level to a pleasant buzz, avoiding a too common problem for those who actually want to have an enjoyable conversation without raising their voices. My wife and I and our three young kids have been in multiple times and every single time, staff goes out of their way to make us and our kids feel beyond welcome, which is not the case at many other establishments. Our kids leave with as big of smiles on their faces as we do and that is all because VK staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond. Can't say enough about this place.
